Geez, what kind of stain is it? Spaghetti?

Hmm odd is that manufacturing line stain? Like grease or something?

It is rather dirt than stain but since it does not go away, I use the word "stain."
My dirt/stain picture is attached at post #194.
It is all around the logo and it shapes up like dirt rectangle. It is where the I-frame sits on desk surface, I guess.:(

Woah yours was beat up. For the silicon membrane try the "white eraser"
method and gently rub the stains off, it worked on my spare silicon case and my current one - can't complain about that :)

For the I-frame, what I usually do is I place it under running mildly warm water from the faucet, place soap on my hands and gently rub the stains on the frame. Good thing is the "whiteness" never fades on the frame so it's all cool!

That's what I do on my white neo case. It works out perfectly.

Have you tried the suggestions above?

Yup, tried with no luck.
Does your I-frame get cleaned as it was new, no dirt marks?

Yeah. Actually after just 2 days of using Neo white, I already noticed a blue stain which was probably caused by my jeans (always inside the pocket) so I emailed their customer support and they suggested me that I could just wash it off with soapy water + running water. Plus I'm OCD with cleaning and I clean my case almost once a week (when I see a speck of dust that went in)

Try emailing their support and attach that image, see what tips they could offer you, as clearly yours is like beat up.

So does anyone know approximately how long it will take to ship from switcheasy to canada? With USPS?

SwitchEasy no longer ships USPS to Canada. Your best bet is to order from a CN reseller such as http://www.invopal.com or http://www.stuffedbox.com/

LOL yeah i know but I got an email on the weekend saying that a shipment has been made to me gave me a confirmation code so that I can check the status on stamps.com. Now if this is true I'm wondering how long its going to take to ship my Neo from San Francisco to Canada. Funny thing they already refunded me the week before.

Matte white is going to get dirty, yellow etc. Just get the black and make life easy....

Unless the black one eliminates the wiggly problem or the squeaking problem (loose I-frame) then I'll get one. If not, I'm sticking with my white since I got the white iPhone.

I think I'm going to get a Neo but via eBay because I can save €13. But I'm wondering if I get a wiggle case or another problem would I be able to deal through SwitchEasy to get a replacement or whatever the problem may be.

Please don't flame, I'm just not sure how this would work.

The wiggle "issue" is not an issue. It's people being extremely OCD about a damn piece of plastic. I'm sorry but c'mon. Mine has a little movement if I sit there and push the bottom, but it's so freaking minor that you really have to be pretty picky to be bothered by it.

I find it annoying. When I'm on the phone, my ear presses against the top part of the "I-Frame". Since it wiggles, the case creaks the entire time I'm on the phone. Hardly being picky.

If the "I-Frame" was a little more rigid, it probably would be a non issue.

Ok maybe I was a bit harsh. I'm sure the wiggle varies between units, mine certainly makes no noise.

People are different and I should know that, what bugs me might not be a problem for you.

Sorry for those who have a bad wiggle, didn't mean to sound like an ass.

But my question was, if a problem does occur, will I be able to deal with SwitchEasy even though I bought from a eBay reseller?

I'm not really OCD about the issue, (I'm more OCD on cleaning though heh) but like w0ngbr4d said, its the creak (sound) that makes it annoying. I guess I really had a bad issue of the wiggling.

I just recently got an e-mail from Zoltan cause I pointed him the threads here in Mac Forums about the said issue, his reply is as follows:

------,

Thank you for your feedback we are certainly try to improve and eliminate any problems on current and upcoming models! A Solution is not just necessary but it is Essential when you are the "New company around the block"

Thank You

Zoltan

I'm looking forward for their upcoming cases!

Ahhh, now I'm not sure if I should get my Neo now, or wait for these "upcoming" models.

EDIT: I broke, I just purchased my Neo, I hope I like it. Just wondering, does the Neo go in and out of the pocket easy? I'm just wondering if that I part is kinda sticky because its like a rubber/ silicone right?

Oh it is smooooth. It's like.... might even be smoother than normal. Like how the anti glare is smoother than crystal.

For some reason I got ANOTHER Black Neo from Switcheasy. I contacted them to correct the issue, the only thing I can think of is I sent a couple emails recently and maybe they are not associating them as the same person?

Anyway, they are aware of it but now I have another Black Neo to sell in the Marketplace.

I wish other companies would send me stuff on accident like this. :)

I still have minimal movement, so those that have a lot of movement have a valid reason to as for an exchnage.

Have you tried to exchange a wiggly case before?

No, to be honest the slight movement doesn't bother me at all. In fact just messing around I found putting two little pieces of paper at the top and bottom under the I-Frame pretty much takes care of it.

They will replace it for you though if you contact them.

Yup, tried with no luck.

Ok after like weeks of having this white neo case, I finally got a stain which is impossible to remove on my side. Somehow when I placed my phone over a brochure which has violet ink, it somehow transferred to the switcheasy logo at the back plus some at the sides (cause it's tilted so not the whole back was stained) Now I know why that logo is not flattened out.

Anyway, so I right now I have a few stains on my I-frame. Tried the same methods that I've been using but no luck. I tried a scotch brite (for kitchen dish washing, the sponge) but unfortunately it partly scratched the stained part. So after keeping my phone clean, it finally got a stain which I can't remove lol. Off to find a different case I guess

Finally got my Black Capsule Neo yesterday and I really like it the installation was kinda a pain in the ass but after you get it on it looks and feels really nice. I had to wait over a month to get this but I have no complaints since it was free from switcheasy =D Got a white one coming soon too.

Rayfire,

I feel your pain.

My white I-frame started to get blue stains on it, it seemed like it was either from being in my jeans pocket or something else. After trying to clean it unsuccessfully, I left it in a small container filled with approx. 2 inches of laundry bleach overnight and it is now white as ever.

(this only works for the white I-Frame, obviously :))

As far as making the plastic more brittle due to the bleach, I didn't notice any difference in flexibility and strength, but I'm no plastic expert.

I however, did receive a second white Neo from SwitchEasy after informing them of this issue. The new one I received has a slightly different coating on the I-Frame than the first one I had and it doesn't seem to have the discoloration problem. The first one had a somewhat "rubbery" coating on it, whereas my new I-Frame has a "kitchen countertop" feel to it.

I plan on ordering a black Neo soon and use interchange the white/black pieces for a combination look. I'm thinking of using the white skin and clear H-Frame with the black I-Frame, or vice versa.

I'll try that laundry bleach trick, see if it works. Cause right now the violet is kinda throwing me off whenever I see it at the back.

With regards to the new I-frame with kitchen countertop feel, that would be cool! Well hopefully that one also minimizes the wiggly effect.

Hopefully I could remove this stain, I already bought a different case just to be prepared (since I can't really trust the white rubber texture anymore)
