So how do I put an Apple bumper on with this without it peeling it up? The site says it's "compatible" but I've heard on some posts that the bumper + this protector sucks balls.
Couldnt use tape as there were 2 cutouts ... one for the top sheet and one for the one that actually stays attached to the phone ...
I'm mad how SGP handled my email request for a replacement protector. They emailed me back 7 days later asking for pics of the lifting screen protector which I sent gladly. I got a reply another 2 days later asking me to send the protector in to them for exchange. Really? You want necrosis pay 5 dollars to ups something that cost .25 to make? I probably won't deal with them anymore. Power support customer service is much better.
I had to send a second email after a week before they finally responded - asked me to send a picture of the screen protector also. If only their customer service was as good as their product![]()
It doesn't have a cut out for the front-facing camera, but even with the film, you won't even notice in the pictures that there was a film placed on top of the camera. I'm still waiting for my package to arrive and my friend has this film on his iPhone 4 and that's how it led me to buy this film.
Like Rayfire said, the screenshield doesn't affect the front camera quality at all
Aw shucks, so I have to order BOTH oleophobic and ultra crystal? for front and back coverage. I really want the OP back and front! Is there a version where ultra crystal just sells the back?
Do the sides come off when you remove the bumper? I never put mine on because I figured they would just rip right off if I remove my bumper.

Not sure about the oleophobic properties, as I'm still getting smudges on it and they're not THAT easy to wipe off.
While I agree that the protector looks great, it was also a nightmare to install to the point that both protectors attracted enough dust to render them useless. As much as my old Zagg protector didn't look great, at least I could get it on without dust particles everywhere. Both of my protectors are in the trash and I emailed customer service informing them how I will not be doing business with them in the future as well as recommend them to any friends or family.
I've used enough screen protectors to know whats good and not (at least I feel that way), and quite frankly, considering how difficult it was to install I would consider Steinheil the worst I've ever tried to use.

You are not aloneI am a complete idiot, but now very satisfied with this protector.
I used the wet install method and everything lined up well, but I wasn't impressed with the grainy appearance and after a couple of days the edges started lifting up. Frustrated, after using tape to remove lint etc, I finally took the film off (and ordered the power support).
This morning, I noticed edges on the real film that were still in place. I didn't realize the actual protector was sandwiched between 2 layers of film! couldn't believe it until I reread the thread and found mention of the 2 layers. Stilll cannot believe it, but hopefully someone else can learn from my idiocy!
Does anyone use this screen protector without a case?
How does it hold up against taking the iphone in and out of your pockets?
I'm wondering if it will peel off quickly by doing that.

I've been using my phone this way since I'm still waiting for cases to arrive and the protector is holding up just fine. Been almost two weeks and no peeling or anything like that.
Has anyone tried punching a hole in the screen protector for the front-facing camera? I think it'd be pretty easy to line up the protector, mark the spot, and punch out a hole.
As clear as these protectors are, you don't need a hole.![]()
