After a week with the oleophobic screen I'm still loving it. The drag on the screen is gone, probably just the oils from my fingers.

This thing won't clean! lol, I used a couple different microfiber clothes and it just smears the fingerprints around... Any suggestions?

I wish the cutout was a bit better, it's lined up perfect on the sides and the ear piece but the bottom home button is off center a bit.

My wife just purchased and installed it. She was going to get the PowerSupply Crystal based on several reviews, she opted for the Steinhell Oleophbic.

It was tricky to apply and the entire, front and back, Iphone has to be 100% spotless. She did the front first and there was so much dust that she had to take it off and put it on the back (which is still not dust free.) Once she got the hang of it, she did the front, and it is perfect. (She's a fine arts major and is good at this stuff).

Once applied, we were impressed. There was very little dulling of color or brightness and the font/images look almost as sharp as without. It definitely reduces smudges, particularly "face" smudges.

On the downside, the touch was a little sticky at first, but after a day is quite smooth. (although noticeably different than pure glass). The front and back are really two fronts. There is no camera hole in back, and I can't tell if it makes a difference yet. There are no sides for this type, and we wish there was.

Overall, she's very pleased with the protection and lack of smudges without sacrificing almost any clarity. We'd probably buy it again.

The flash will be a mess if there is no cutout.

There is no back with the Oleophobics to begin with. They include a second screen protector in case you mess up the first. The only SGP products where you get back protectors are the full body kits. Everything else is screen protector sets (solely for the front).

Wow! Just installed my SGP Ultra Oleophobic screen protector and am amazed. Got it right on the 1st try without doing the "wet" method and shower room method. Washed my hands thoroughly, layed down a dish cloth on the kitchen table, And started putting it on from the speaker down, and it's pretty much perfect. Heck of a lot better than the Zagg IS

So far I really like it, to me it feels just as smooth as if not smoother than the iPhone's glass :)

Agreed. That's why I (and I assume most other people who have it) like it. The one thing that I am noticing though is that after a while as it starts to accumulate fingerprints and a little oil, it's hard to completely clean off unless you have a microfiber cloth or something similar. A little glass cleaning fluid doesn't hurt either but when that isn't handy just the microfiber is good.

Just got mine today too, install went well, had to lift it to readjust a little, but I didn't have to use the "wet" method.

So far I really like it, great feel to it, and much better than the wrapsol. I am loving the combo of the matte back from Phantomskinz, and this for the front. Now I just need to get my Scosche BandEDGE! :)

I just got mine today as well. Botched the first one but the second one went well. They may have a new cut as well since the top cutout is clearly long enough for both the earphone and front camera. Even though everyone said the protector was clear enough that it did not affect the front camera, I was a little hesitant but bought them anyway. Happy to see that the front camera is now not affected. Anyone else noticing this new cut?

Weird, mine was a fresh shipment (got it today) and did not have the longer cutout :(

i hesitantly bought one off ebay a few days ago, sent the seller a question regarding the cut out for the front camera. He claims the ones he has do not have the longer cut out. hopefully he is telling the truth, we all know what ebay is like......

i would prefer it without a cut out, less likely that the exposed part of the screen will get scratched.

just received my oleophobic screen protector. IT NOW HAS A CUTOUT FOR THE FRONT CAMERA.

it essentially just extends the cut out of the earpiece to the left for the camera.

Got mine yesterday and put it on. Mine also has a cutout for the camera. Install went better than I thought, thought it's a tiny tiny bit lower and left of center.

I had one dust spot in the very center and one near bottom right. Every time I would remove them, new ones appeared closer to the edge. I finally cut my losses so I have two spots on the edges that are small enough to not annoy me.

This looks so much better compared to the screen cover I left on from purchasing the phone that had been pulled up and had air bubbles everywhere.

Oh they just made it longer? Ok I'm good then, I'm good without the cut out for the front. They could have punched a separate hole, that would be nicer but like I said before, the film won't even affect the clarity of the pic being taken using the front camera.

Where is the cheapest place to get this screen protector? Can someone here confirm that the screen protector completely fits the iPhone 4 well? I think someone here said the screen protector doesn't completely go over the home button?

My question is if this is worth the 15 dollars. Compared to the bse front is their any real difference? I'm guessing the sgp won't have the orange peel effect but in terms f clarity when the screen is on, is there a noticeable difference? I rather just stay with the bse and save 15 if the difference isn't night and day.

I don't know anything about BSE but independently of any other brands, the SGP Oleophobics are definitely worth $15 (IMHO anyway).

I am very disappointed with this protect. I used both the ones supplied because the first one I used, the corner popped up when I put in the bumper and it would never stay down again.

I used the second one and after carefully installing it the corner started to peel back again. this also has happened with my iPad protecter made by the same company.

despite repeated attempts to contact them about both the iPad and the iPhone protecter I have not heard back from them.

looking over the the warranty they are very careful how they word it giving themselves plenty of breathing room to deny customer replacement products.

needles to say extremely disappointed with the lack of customer service and inferior products, and will not be purchasing from these folks ever again.

Ya I haven't checked in for a while. While the clarity is good, it is now impossible to clean. With my 3GS, PS crystal combo I would use the towel I showered with to clean the screen with before I started the day. That cleaned the screen really well.

This screen protector is really hard to clean and lint, etc loves to cling to it. At first it was nice but I am not happy with it now.

I just ordered the PS front and back set and will be ditching the SGP. I don't like their customer service at all so I will no longer give them my business.

I will admit that after a lot of use it is hard to clean but I just make sure I have a bottle of glass cleaner or whatnot and I use that with a microfiber and it clears everything up quickly.

Wow, so buyer's remorse? Where did you ordered the PS (as in power support) front and back? The shipping on the website is kind of outrageous.
