Thanks. Like I said....

And I like how Safari doesn't appear as an option on Apples feedback page.
Try right clicking and customise toolbar. There should be a button in there. Maybe it's because you have changed it to look like safari 3Thanks. Like I said....

Breaking attention away from the screen, focusing on the keyboard, pressing Command+R and refocusing on the screen is not faster that reaching up to a Refresh button.
Maybe because you have messed with the tabs??? Also your search bar looks different to my safari 4...? You are using 4 right?

It's in the Address Bar to the extreme right.
What are you doing to get it to do that? I am able to open links in new windows (CMD+Click) just fine...SERIOUS YOUTUBE.COM FLAW IN SAFARI 4.0...
Safari does NOT copy links or open links in a new page properly, it just mimics the same page.
A MUST FIX.
I'm not sure if this flaw affects other websites, so far I've not found any, but I'm looking into it. Only noticed Youtube so far. But it makes Youtube virtually unusable for me in my opinion.

It's fine on my machine as well...
I figured out why. If you view the page source they either changed the way the linking worked or the old safari somehow was ignoring what the link told it to do.WRONG... Sign into YOUTUBE FIRST!
Then go to your SUBSCRIPTIONS (View All) and you'll see what I mean, all the links fail to load the correct page. They keep re-loading the subscriptions page no matter how you copy or click to open in a new window, you name it, ALL ATTEMPTS WILL FAIL.
<a href="#" onClick="onPlayVideos(['DpGqovcBVo0']); return false;" class="video-thumb"><img src="http://i1.ytimg.com/vi/DpGqovcBVo0/default.jpg" /></a>

When I mouseover any video in my subscriptions it tells me in the status bar that the page that I am getting sent to is #. I guess that tells the browser to reload the page, but the real magic is in the onClick part. Which does not get carried over when trying to open the link in a new window/tab.Code:<a href="#" onClick="onPlayVideos(['DpGqovcBVo0']); return false;" class="video-thumb"><img src="http://i1.ytimg.com/vi/DpGqovcBVo0/default.jpg" /></a>
Does anyone know how I can make it so links opens in a new tab instead of a new window?

sure enough it's doing it every time... good find.
Doesn't work in IE or Chrome. I am assuming you are actually going to your subscriptions section and trying this on one of the videos in the list.I'm not an expert, so I'm not going to say what the cause of the problem is, but if you click on any of the subscription links they all work in BOTH versions of Safari.
However, ONLY in Safari 4.0 does COPY LINK or OPEN LINK IN ANOTHER WINDOW not work. That is what makes me suspect this is a Safari problem, not a Youtube problem.
Hopefully, this will get fixed soon. I already reported it as a bug.
Oh, since I've been mostly negative on Safari 4.0, here's some good news...
EBAY is WICKED FAST using Safari 4.0 and I've had no problems so far! YAY!
(the previous version always had Ebay issues from my experience)
Hmm The "converter" widget got a little bit "destroyed" by the Safari 4 beta.
Most of it still works, but when I'm converting USD$ to NOK (Norwegian Kroner) it gives me completely wrong info!
Anyone else having this issue?![]()
I hope Appleyes, it gives horribly wrong results and I've heard it from other people, too. I've only tried USD/EUR and GBP/EUR, but it seems many if not all conversions are screwed up...
I hope Appleis aware of these issues.
