Poor Samsung, I already knew 6 was greater than 6 (I'll overlook your stupidly illogical tag line for the moment). The problem for you, however, is that you're placing the wrong 6 in the superiority slot.

I'm hoping Apple really updates the camera on the 2k15 iPhone. B/c its severely lacking and the arrival of the S6 and even the G4 really shows it.

I hope someone does a side comparison between the camera qualities. I would love to see the difference first hand.

This is just free advertising for apple... after all, it doesn't really encourage apple users to really change - and it has probably made people come over to apple...

The edge has design faults, just like all phones - but one thing that puts me off the edge, is the edge of the phone itself - it means cases will be an awkward fit always exposing the edge part - or clumsy wrap around fingers will catch the edge part (which kept happening when i tried it in store)... the solution apple has, buy a case with a window in the cover and you can see who is calling and swipe without having to open the case...

as for the charging mat - i'd rather carry a cable, than a mat... which means the mat is only useful in one place at a time - so it doesn't make for great charging... but apple have a solution too - you can buy a case if you want the option of wireless charging BUT the wireless charging isn't that popular because it's slower, restricting to one place etc etc.

Any company that uses another company to compare and advertise against means that they recognise the opposing company as a threat and that their product must be somewhat as good if it's doing better in the market...It's a similar tactic that microsoft used -- out of all the products they pitched the surface against the macbook air - they chose a laptop that was 4 years old in design and turned out to be heavier when the keyboard was attached... apple then brought out the 12" macbook which even with limited ports etc still showed more popularity -- what the other companies keep forgetting is that people buy apple because of their products AND the company

haha I had to laugh, it's funny how they only seem to make mocking adverts for the American market, just so they can rreeeaaalllyyy rub it in.
They did though make a great point about the wireless charging, which Apple should include. The camera was an obvious target too.

Meh the S6 Edge is overpriced, I actually think it's a bit pointless too, I mean I thought the S5 Note Edge was absolutely brilliant, really clever intuitive idea, but the S6 Edge just seems to be me too and without adding ANY benefit by having two curved edges, apart from they'll use that to mock Apple.

Whilst it is funny for Samsung to mock Apple, I think just like Apples PC mocking advertising campaign, it is beginning to get boring....

Funny... they put their product right where "PC" was.

It's time for Apple to increase their game with respect to the front facing camera. Selfies are not going away anywhere so this is an area that would definitely pay dividends with respect to delighting potential customers. Front facing camera should be about the same quality as iPhone 5 rear facing camera.

Apple has cheaped out on the front facing camera.

I love how they make free promotion for the iphone 6. also... good jobs on showing the most useless functions of your own phone samsung.

You know how else you can see who calls you? By putting your phone on the table THE NORMAL WAY.

Actually, I put my phone face down because I don't want anyone to see who is calling or texting me.

I'll give it to Samsung with the Edge. I've watched some drop tests where that thing takes a beating and doesn't give. Unfortunately most of the features they choose to promote are pretty useless or fail to work well.

These adverts really changed my mind. I now want useless features that I will never use, like putting my phone (face down) on the table to see who wants my attention. It would help scratching my screen faster, and who wouldn't want that? And more support for idiotic selfies, big yay!
And to be precise, there is no wireless charging, even Apple Watch requires a wire, it might not be inserted into the device, but there is a wire.

The thing that these companies don't get is that people buy Apple stuff on emotion more than they do features. They love the brand, they love the way the products look and feel. None of this bashing is going to get people to change their minds!

this is one sweet device. it's a shame that it only runs crapdroid.

why can't a resourceful hacker make iOS run on this hardware, a la hackintosh? :)

win-win situation, decent OS (no java!), decent hardware, and no-nonsense like 'no downgrades', etc

Wireless charging sounds cool until you realize that all it does is limit you. You can't even pick up your phone to even play on it while it charges. Samsung brought a whole new meaning to wall huggers with wireless charging.
It's nice to have options, and wireless charging is just that. An option. The phone comes with a standard fast charger. The cameras are great. The screen is fantastic. TouchWiz is much lighter. Hell, Android has a boatload of fantastic launchers. TouchWiz doesn't even have to factor into the decision to buy Samsung. It's a nice phone for those who like Android. Samsung's need to make iPhone comparisons is strange to me. It seems unnecessary.

Samsung, why cant you just go on about doing your own thing? Like seriously, its getting real silly now! Its not like this ad is gonna make me change my mind. In fact, its gonna make me root for Apple even more.

Apple did this sort of thing to Microsoft, did you feel the same about that?

The S6 is a beautiful phone, but I'm sorry it isn't that impressive when you release it 6 months after the iPhone 6. I would have been more impressed if this came out the same month or even in October. It doesn't really show that they could make a competitive phone on their own. It's like playing rock-paper-sissors and Samsung gets to see what Apple chooses before it reacts.

Oh wow, if these ads are the final result of what advertising $$$ gets you, I can see why their products are slowly losing market share. ZERO thought, has gone into them. They don't inspire, they just pick. This reminds me of when I was back at school and less confident kids would pick on kids who were a threat to them because they were bigger or tougher.

Maybe Apple should release a video that goes along the lines of "The new Samsung 6 edge, to use it's features, you need to place the phone on a table face side down, because it's just SO natural.

There are innovators and imitators. Samsung hasn't innovated squat, and whenever they do, the features are pointless and gimmicky at the very least and add ZERO to the usability of the device.

I guess desperate times call for desperate measures :)
