Didn't Apple do the same thing in Mac vs PC ads? You guys act like anyone who teases Apple is wrong while Apple can do it and its always right.

No. Apple made fun of a bad product, not the people who used the bad product.

Who comes up with this garbage....

After watching this advert, I would never by a samsung phone, in fact it puts me of buying ANY Samsung product.

Samsung really do need to stop copying apple and start making their phones look unique. i hope someone from samsung reads this.....

I'm sure they are worried about someone who was never going to buy a Samsung phone regardless of this ad, proclaiming "I would never by a Samsung phone"

I drive a ford, chevy mocks ford. Doesnt that indirectly mock me since I spent my hard on money on a ford?

If apple mocked a product that billions use, they are indirectly challenging its users.

I'm with you. If the samdung Phones and pads are any metric, every thing Samdung is copy.cat.crapware from someone else.

So much tears in this thread. Wow are some of you sensitive.

Seems the people in this thread are are mad are the exact people that thought the commercial was too "Personally attacking"

Emotionally attached to a piece of metal:rolleyes:

Wasn't as bad as the one where the Apple user goes to a clothes store to get fingerless gloves so he could type on the touch screen. Then the Samsung user uses a voice command and says "You just got Samsunged!" As if Siri freaking doesn't exist.

i think this one was my favorite. lots to like from Ulacher to the Darkness to them clearly mocking themselves by making the selling point a stylus. right, that stylus thing was a joke??

:D

I'd probably use one if someone gave it to me and paid my cell phone bill for a few years. Maybe...

Samsung still makes good stuff, despite what some people are saying - this phone just doesn't *seem* fall into that category.

I just wonder how lucrative it is for cell phone companies to keep producing stuff that they truly know is subpar. If they can't compete in inovation, are they making their money some other way? The thing can't be that cheap to develop, market, and then produce.

Seems like a costly 'mail in', if you will...

Maybe it's because it's early and I just woke up, but I found this ad incredibly annoying. Not because they're poking fun at Apple fans, but for other reasons that I don't know...

agreed

I agree. It is pretty ridiculous to actually make fun of the consumers instead of the company. Oh well, no biggie. The samsung phone looks ridiculous anyway. I can't believe how huge it is! I would never want a brick in my pocket!

The trendy thing to do is pick on the big guy. However, if I want the "next big thing", it will be gone by the time I get to the store. Android blows and cycles too quickly

Wasn't a very good ad - just shows that money can't buy creativity...

At least they were equal opportunity in their slamming of Apple fans: An asian Chick, an Indian Guy, Black guy, white guy.

Might as well be as PC as possible while you are a)making a non-creative advert b) Slamming another companies user base.

wait, what?

The only reason to release a product with a stylus is if you're the company selling a proprietary replacement stylus (probably for $10+). People will lose these things all the time.

You're confusing an OS with a device.
The OS cycles about as often as IOS does.

As for the Note, the AT&T version is not the same one that has been selling in Europe.
It's got a faster CPU for one thing, and they got rid of the huge ugly button on the middle.

Hater's are gonna hate, but I fail to understand the emotional attachment many here are placing on a product.
They're phones. Inanimate objects.
Some here should seek professional help.

Okay will be honest here :

Just bought a S2 yesterday even though I am kind of liking the display size ( prefer 4 inch then the 4.3 though)and freedom an user gets using it , It just feels better using an iPhone .

i still don't get the apple and android bashing..

But then if u don't have an iPhone ,well, you don't have an iPhone .. ;)

Honest really?
An S2 feels better? you are kidding right, it feels cheap compared to an iPhone even my diehard Android owning friends say it feels cheaper.
You obviously don't have an iPhone..

So many people here saying they failed cause they are making fun of potential customers. Seriously, don't all run and trip taking yourself so seriously.

Doesn't really matter - he likes it. If he likes it and uses it, I'd say he made the right decision.

An iPhone might be better, but there is so much subjectivity when it comes to these kinds of things.

As much as I love Apple products - much of my livelihood depends on a few them at this point - I'd humbly suggest we should all just buy what we like and can use.

Nope. There was a super bowl commercial for the Droid Razr. However, the next big thing is the Droid Razr Max, which will be surpassed by the Note soon enough.

I like seeing companies pushing the limits of devices and the attached OS, don't you?
