This is the best name name a Droid device has had in awhile.

I wonder if Samsung Galaxy S II Epic 4G Touch would've fit on a 1080p screen during the commercial.

LOL at Apple fanboys getting mad. It's what Apple did to Microsoft (and failed, so they stopped). The ad was great and it really depicts the sadness of people that stupidly wait in lines for something they can just as easily walk into a store and buy a day or two later. Sheep need to be mocked. Good job.

Well yes, but some products deserve to be camped out over. I think Apple has reached their peak. If the next Apple product turns out to be good, I just might camp out again.

Will anything excite me again? We'll see.

Well the group that tends to wait in lines over night are fanboys and girls. A group that would not change their mind even if Apple was to sell dog crap in a box. Now getting the people on a fence is another story.
I personally fine the ads kind of funny because in some ways they are poking fun at the Apple fanboys and girls. If one can not laugh at themselves they have issues.

What do you call a group that tends to hang out at Apple sites and do nothing but spew anti-apple gibberish all the time?

Hmmm....

I actually loved the ad, even though I won't be buying the product. It was over the top, fun, and I'm a huge fan of that song. It was actually quite appropriate for the ad.

The Darkness

It helps if you know who The Darkness are. They were massive in the UK for about a year or two and then died out.....fast. I kept looking at the singer. Is it Justin Hawkins? No, it isn't. Maybe it is. No, definitely not. Most Americans have never heard of The Darkness so the gag is likely lost on them.

I doubt the ad will make much of an impact on Apple sales but it is exactly what Apple did to Microsoft, so fair play.

This wasn't the first time Samsung grasped desperately to get people to use their terrible Android products. They did these commercials a few months ago.

It's funny they blew millions on this ad all the while iPhone is now the top selling most selling phone, Apple reported it's best quarter ever and the closest competitor to the iPad isn't a Samsung device it's Amazon's Kindle Fire. Maybe instead of wasting millions insulting the customers you hope to lure to your subpar phones, Samsung might want to work on quality.

Somewhere the RIM heads wish they had the 3.5 million to spend on an ad during the Super Bowl. RIM might be stumbling but least they spend their little money on attempting to save Blackberry. Samsung, HTC, and Motorola will be out of the cell phone business soon if they keep touting the terrible Android interface.

I had two Android phones (and one when it was T-Mobile's flagship phone and the first true android phone). They both were so bad I got a Blackberry but I'd probably jump to iPhone given the chance.

A stylus really? Hey we're Samsung and we're bringing 1997 back!

galaxy note is the best mobile device yet made. All you stupid ifan boys stay your none lte 3.5" forever. The game is over at least now, go check at a store in your hand. All people bitching about samsung are the standard brain of apple here. sent from iphone4

Troll fail.

In-Line Experience

I don't know about any of you, but I had a pretty fantastic time waiting in line for my iPhone 4 on release day. Went to the Apple Store alone, ended up meeting new people around me.... we all put in some change and ordered ourselves a couple pizzas, went for coffee runs....

Was a good experience - an experience that is permanently tied to my iPhone 4.

I'll probably be in line bright and early for the iPhone 5 launch.... if anything it's an amazing event to meet new people you wouldn't normally have the opportunity to meet otherwise.

Thats just my $0.02 anyways..... :apple:

You guys realize it is only an advertisement, right?

This is an internet forum. As Penny Arcade noted years ago.

Apple ads are the best because they show the actual product working, not some people dancing saying how "cool" it is.

The only thing I saw in this ad is a stylus (seriously?) and a FaceTime rip-off.
Riiiight...
"Hi, I'm a mac
and I'm a PC."
You must be forgetting about all those commercials.

Dear god, this thread is full of.....fanboys....like complete fanboys who are stuck in the Apple reality distortion field.....really guys, do some research before you talk. This place is filled with either trolls or just plain idiots.

I actually want a Samsung Galaxy Note. Those things are cool! I always thought that styluses are more sophisticated than using your hands.

I got voted down because I said the Samsung Galaxy Note was cool??

Just unnecessary.

Which apple hated because it insulted the customer. They ran it at the insistence of the ad agency. Everyone thought it was a crap ad and it was. Same thing here.

Riiiiiight. So, when Apple makes a good decision it is their decision, but when they make a bad one it is somebody else's fault.

Again, platform. Not the user.

Competitor's platform. Not the user.

The lemmings commercial, and even the 1984 one, could easily be construed as attacking the users.

I had an LG Cookie (horrible phone) and it had a stylus which I thought would be fun. I can count how many times I drew with it on one hand. Granted, the Note's bigger screen and capacitive touch screen would make it more enjoyable, but like the Cookie, I can't imagine how a stylus would make up for the rest of the OS's shortcomings.

A big screen and a stylus still doesn't differentiate a Samsung product from another Android OEM. Their skin does more to mask the ICS look than improve on it.

What are you talking about? Apple obviously let them run it.

The lemmings one did attack the customer. The 1984 one did not. Big brother is clearly the antagonist. Not a stupid user.

A lot of you aren't smart enough to avoid being trolled. I have to leave this site. It's pathetic.
