Samsung Galaxy S8 Image Leak Reveals Design of 'iPhone 8' Rival [Updated]

No matter what Samsung does as far as copying the iPhone, the iPhone always looks much nicer, cleaner, and better built. And I believe this year will be no different. It's gonna be a bad A$$ looking phone. Apple is long overdue and I think Ive and team have something big planned. (I hope)
 
I despise Samsung's TouchWiz interface, but their industrial design can be quite beautiful (at times). Now I understand why Apple is pushing hard for the early iPhone 8 in an otherwise "S" series release cycle this year. IMO, Apple was very fortunate Samsung had the battery recall last year as I'm sure Note 7 global demand caught them off guard. Since iPhone is basically competing for marketshare against the Samsung Note and Galaxy series, I fully expect the iPhone 8 to look very similar to this Galaxy S8, if not ever better.

People here hating on curved screen but when apple intro it on the iphone 8 they will singing a different tune...isheep......LoL

Am I the only to notice the wallpaper not reaching the bottom of the screen? I know it's not necessarily official but those nice rounded corners at the bottom are interrupted. Then again, maybe just OCD.

People with no understanding of technology shouldn't be allowed to comment here at all. Your post is based on "Samsung 8GB ram, iPhone 3GB" Samsung must have the better specs.

A person with deeper knowledge of the matter will tell you that most android phones are quite wasteful in using their resources and can't even take advantage of them.

In a real-world speed comparison, the iPhone 7 probably still bests any other phone And I wouldn't be surprised if this was still the case when the new Samsung comes out.

It is tiring to see how people look at synthetic benchmarks which is like driving a golden Ferrari - a glorified penis extension.

They're rushing to market a phone built on rumors. If Apple moved up their release schedule, the rumors would just come earlier and Samsung would still do the same thing.

I disagree. The upgrade from a 5s to 6 was huge in almost every aspect including design. And Sharp does have bezels which was its flaw and Which Samsing and Apple fixed

what why are waiting is something capable of running iOS or Mac OS out of the box for a far-from-perfect-but-better-than-others-experience, anything else is just hardware trying to catch up eyes.

The aquous was copied, no matter of spin will change that.

They all still looked like iPhones to me.

I was going to mention the same thing. In the end nobody cared. We all kept getting macs. People who had a note 7 will care, everyone who has a galaxy s do not give a crap.
 
Not many comments about the headphone jack here. Will Samsung follow, or will Apple be out there on their own? And does it matter?
 
no inovation in lens optics. every other tech spec is like counting beans.
 
Going to be an incredible device. The screen size will be great to have more so when Apple are going to give us a tiny display in a 5.8 inch phone ugh
