Funny how Samsung users have Note 7s exploding so often, including in their back pockets and then they complain about the phone being recalled. Sounds like some of them are a bit butt-hurt!
We have a pretty strict consumer law, so it's reported here. The US is still the crucial market for them. The Consumer Products Safety Board requires disclosure of these incidents, and in fact, would have demanded that they recall them had they not already done so. I think Samsung may have been hasty in their first hypothesis that it was a batch problem. If so, what are the bad batches? Or is it a deeper problem? Fast-charge? Too crowded with that mini-audio jack? Why is this only happening in the US? Seems strange no reports of fires elsewhere. Maybe it's only that batch that's affected?
What a shame, this phone really was the bomb.

It is more hilarious that Samsung actually has "fans" though - a company who notoriously just make rather cheap devices at almost premium prices. I can understand being a Google fan or an Android fan - and there are lots of decent Android handsets if thats the OS you prefer - but a Samsung fan is just odd. There's nothing they do that excels in any region, or get "cultly" about.
I always have. This is just very sad... didn't take Samsung to be this incompetent
Those fumes still seem to have Samsung scrambling every year, as with the rush for the Note 7 (whatever happened to the Note 6?I think the S7 Edge blows anything Apple ever created clean out of the water.
Apple has been running on fumes since Steve Jobs died. Steve WAS Apple.
iPhones also exploding
Exploding is an exaggeration since phones usually just release smoke. Nothing new.

I don't think it's well put at all because it's a huge assumption. Assuming that fans of Apple have not accomplished anything for themselves has no basis and is likely false.Very well put, they see Apple's success as their success.
Tbh, I like the Note phone and almost bought one a couple of years ago.
There's no worldwide recall, cpsc recall, airline ban, nor text messages sent to customers from Apple representatives. Deflections, false equivalencies.iPhones also exploding from using the same battery manufacturer.

There is not "Add to Cart" for the Note 7 on their website.
Not sure when that was removed, but what does that tell you?
Is that "official enough"?
?Network provider? No that's not an official statement from the safety regulatory board or Samsung, that is a network provider temporarily stopping the sales of the device.
Now, this is very well said. I agree 100%.Let's say I agree with you and that what you said is true to some extent.
I am an elementary school teacher. I don't claim to be some honking big success, but put in my fair share of labour every day and draw an honest day's wage at the end of every month.
I like Apple products. I make no secret of it and the Apple fanboy tag is something I wear with pride, not shame.
What I find truly bizarre is why some people evidently have an issue with my choice of phone or what team I choose to root for.
What's it to you and what business is it of yours?
Couldn't have said it better. Don't get me wrong, the newest devices have been good; s6, s7 and A series, but the fact they built the first 5 S series flagship phones out of the flimsiest plastic and still charged more than apple did for phones made of diamond cut aluminium shows just how much Samsung only care about the dollar signs. It is more hilarious that Samsung actually has "fans" though - a company who notoriously just make rather cheap devices at almost premium prices.
