every metal bends. So?

So Apple made a super-thin phone out of a malleable metal without any structural integrity, and didn't consider that it could bend under stress.

Can't believe the Apple defenders here at the moment. No wonder people claim we're a cult.

What fault? That's normal phone usage.

No its not

Samesung shill. Quite a few of them in here too. Check the posting history before replying!

It's okay, companies like Samsung can shell out money to pay private contractors to post negative apple remarks on various Internet forums. So much spending, no selling, no margins - the cash will run out soon.

One thing android and apple fans have in common is their obsession with the iPhone.

Once again, this is why I never buy a new Apple design. ALWAYS kinks to work out. That said, I expect this problem to disappear fairly quickly (and definitely by the time I get my 6s ;)).

lol at everyone that is going to suffer through a year with obselete technology because of this, just upgrade, then upgrade again when the 6s comes out. apple gave me $310 for my 5s when I got the 6, so even though i had early contract fee, my phone was still cheaper than $199.

the retina HD screen alone is worth the upgrade (for the image quality, not the size), it is so good it looks like a fake display model compared to the 5s. don't punish your eyes for the next year.

Apple right now...

You make it really easy calling idiots people that doesn't think like you. I hope you are right about the farce.

I am calling all people idiots that do not respect their own property and try to use it properly. People that use their phone normal and experience issues with it are of course not in this category..
I had an HTC One M8 and I tried carrying it in my pocket, but it was too uncomfortable for me. It beats me how someone would like to carry an even bigger phone in a jeans pocket, but I guess everybody is different. The fact is that a phablet should be carried in a different way..

Invalid, says you.

I was one of the few people who actually called the bending a design flaw when the story first broke while everyone else and made excuses. I'm not a blind Apple follower where I can't see apples own flaws. Check the post history. It's a design flaw, or a bad batch. I'm willing to put money where my mouth is and bet Apple will do the right thing and issue free replacements

I think one, or both of us is confused. Im saying I would never put it past Apple to pay people to troll on competitors. I completely agree Apple will do the right thing due to the publicity of this "bad batch" of iPhones. People have already claimed to get replacements for free under warranty.

It's a shame to see companies PR pumping out crap like this. If it's not your product then you have no place to talk about it. Consumers can bash it all they want but you aren't gaining fans by pretending you are down with the consumers!

've seen the videos and you would have to be a douche to manage to bend the thing, I don't quite get it. Most people don't have the issue its just a few people. If it were me I would have avoided putting SIM card on the side and put it on top instead or at the top side of the phone, also the volume buttons could have been reduced in size and reinforced.

I've said before but like the apple watch it should have come in steel options too!?

hey i don't care if apple sells millions of phones, i just want my phone to not bend when i put it in my pocket. i usually sit in the car and then take the phone of out of my front pants pocket, i'm not sure whether i can do this now with 6 + , still undecided whether to order 6 +.

I just wish they made the iphone 6 and 6 + with the iphone 4 design minus the antenna gate.

Certainly explains the Mac-PC commercials.

Apple deserves all the derision and mocking. They put out a bad product.

we don't know if it is bad. I am sure that you want to be bad. Joined one month ago to bash new Samsung's competing model. Clever, lol

If you insist that iPhone 6 plus is bad, give me exact evidence of how it happened, under which circumstance, by what force applied? how the story was prepared for feed to press; how the journalist FOUND about 1 bent phone; why without ANY proof simultaneously many news sites are INSISTING that the phone was broken WITHOUT any documented proof and that ALL plus models BEND? Who paid for headlines? Who paid for story placement? the news dissemination? It costs a lot, you know.

yeah, super embarrassing... "we sold 10M iphones over the weekend" trumps all the rest of the noise that will be forgotten in days like antennagate.

I'm not surprised. The fact that people still go around touting Apple Quality, precision, attention to detail and flawless software in spite of all the dropped balls in all those areas is what gets me. I'm not surprised there either, the masses are never the most intelligent bunch, just the largest.

Best post out of a soon to be 50+ page thread.

so 10 phones out of 2 million?

Samsung is reaching. Of course their phones can't bend they're like bricks.

I saw how hard those guys were trying to bend the phone on purpose. I don't see it as being a big deal. People shouldn't be sitting on their phones anyway.

But didn't those PC v. Mac commercials give a bad name without referring to a specific incident? Some people have gone years without getting a virus on a Windows computer. Just saying.

I disagree. If the GS5 was the only Android phone, then cool. But the Galaxies compete with several other phones. Android provides choice.

iOS is ONLY on Apple phones.

For example, one can probably say the Macbook Pros or iMacs are the single best selling laptops/desktops if you went by model alone. But on a global basis, Windows obliterates it.

So in saying my point isn't valid you went and proved that neither is the point every Android fan makes in saying that they dominate global market. You're talking hundreds of phones and their sales and plotting them against the sales of 2-4 current iPhone models available. If it's not legitimate to plot one phone model against another in sales then it certainly isn't a legitimate argument to compare based on OS either.

Guess you've never heard the term "Sells itself"

This is a comment worthy of TMZ. Congratulations.
