Having owned a Fold 3 launch day for all of 3 weeks before selling it, not a bad phone but no where near as nice as an iPhone, although I’m an Apple nerd so that’s biased lol

Where Samsung would really shine and have good grounds against Apple is making fun of how garbage and useless the entire Home/HomeKit abomination has been, even more so with Siri and HomePod

Samsung can’t really say much there. Their answer to Siri is Bixby which is even more widely reviled. And they don’t even have a smart speaker. Though to be fair, if this is the level of effort Apple is prepared to put in, they shouldn’t have one either.

In a new World Cup themed ad, Samsung has poked fun at Apple's lack of a flippable iPhone while promoting its own Galaxy Z Flip4.

In the ad posted on one of Samsung's Weibo accounts, Galaxy Flip phones can be seen as fans in a soccer stadium, themed after the 2022 World Cup. While the Galaxy Flip phones are cheering and flipping in the stands, a few smartphones, clearly resembling iPhones, remain in the audience, standing still with sad emojis shown on their displays as they look around at the sea of Galaxy Flip phones. Text at the end of the commercial reads, "it's time to fold together."

This is not the first time Samsung has made fun of Apple and its lack of a foldable and flippable phones. In an ad last month, Samsung made fun of how Apple users are always waiting for new features, "because that's what we do. We wait," the ad mocks a fake Apple employee as saying.

At least my iPhone can enjoy the match with unrestricted viewing pleasure.
Those fold phones keep missing seconds of the match as they keep folding over!!

I don't want a creased phone! This is the stupidest ad ever, they are basically saying their phones can bend but you suffer from a horrible picture, yay....

I heard it is a very low volume device. Maybe as they get better, sales would increase?

Well, given I have yet to see a single folding phone in use... not one, ever... it seems people are voting with their wallets. Anyway, competition is good. It keeps Apple on its toes so we all benefit.

Ah I totally forgot about Bixby! Everyone I know with a Samsung phone uses Google Assistant, I guess cause Bixby is not good? I have it on my TV but never used it.

And I agree about Apple’s effort with HomePod and Siri… not good

Foldable phones feels like one of those things that certain manufactures are trying to make happen, despite most people having zero interest. From what I see most foldable phones are too small to be useful as a tablet and too thick (when folded) to qualify as a pocketable portable device, so they are basically the worst of both worlds. I suspect like a lot of other dumb useless tech they will disappear due to lack of interest.

I'm a total apple fanboy, I live in full Apple ecosystem.
And I have a great interest in seeing foldable iPhone. I travel a lot and 2-in-1 device that is a phone and a small tablet is ideal for me.
Looking forward to Apple making one

As cringe their mocking ads are, they do their job. People start talking about Samsung.

Cue the people attacking Samsung while they cheered on Apple attacking Windows.
Nobody cares that Samsung is "attacking" Apple. They care that they are mocking Apple over lacking a feature nobody asked for or wants.

Apple's ads about Windows getting viruses were very relevant to people's daily lives. Apple was selling an alternative people wanted and needed.

Wow, I know I shouldn't be surprised at the levels they will stoop, but I am. It's so awkward watching Samsung commercials.
