I can't wait to hear from Tile about how this is ruining their business...don't the lawsuits and complaints against Apple get copied whenever another company copies what Apple does?
You know Samsung makes several iPhone parts don’t you? Depending on the model you have Samsung made the screen, the storage, the camera sensor, the RAM and/or probably something else.More disposable garbage from Samsung...
I bought several Tiles for my parents. When I set them up, I was unhappy to see that only one device could be set up to work with the devices… unless I paid a monthly fee. Also, the ones that use replaceable batteries estimate battery life - not great to find out that the battery is actually dead after you lost itI like my Tiles a lot ... but it will be interesting to see Apple and Samsung's implementation. It would be neat if they utilize other Apple and Samsung phones to help find your missing tag.
No, definitely not but everyone seems to be copying Apple these days it's becoming gold standard whether good or bad.Let's not pretend like Apple was the first company in this market.
These are quite specific products though. Samsung also "copied" Apple Card with its "Samsung Money". It's not like saying that they copied Apple by releasing new phones, because there are dozens of companies who make phones, but not a lot who make phones and their own cards/tile trackers.Well said. They ALL copy each other. In both software and hardware, many “new” features in iOS are usually present in Android for about 3 years on average. On the hardware side Apple has copied competitors numerous times as well.
I have to add that the “tracker” market was not originated by Apple, they haven’t even released theirs and some people here already say Samsung copied Apple. 🙄

I don't understand why either company wouldn't just acquire Tile. If they release their own product, doesn't that mean the two giant tech companies stole idea from a small startup, all the while driving the startup to the ground?
If the market is personalizing technology then actually Apple did it before any other company.Let's not pretend like Apple was the first company in this market.
Let's not pretend my comment was made to be taken seriouslyLet's not pretend like Apple was the first company in this market.
Can't wait for the Google one. If there's three companies that keep copying each other it's SamGoogApple

AirTags? Apple doesn't have any product named "AirTags".
