They keep trying to derail the thread, isn’t that against forum rules?

Well, to Samsung's credit, the galaxy fold's flaw would be so glaring that it basically crapped out after just a day of use. Rather than after a week or two when the product had already been shipped to users.
I keep seeing people claim the Airpods are "revolutionary", "game-changing", and now your "changed the world". I'm sorry but they're just wireless headphones which were not new to the market. Serious question, what is so game changing about the Airpods?

Samsung Marketing doesn't care about real world testing, just being first and beating Apple. When I first heard of folding displays, my first thought was: how will they solve material fatigue due to the constant open and closing? And dirt getting on the display? I remember cracking a laptop screen because a speck of dirt got on the screen before I closed the lip.
It just seems strange Samsung did not test this in real world scenarios. They would’ve discovered the flaws before they released them to journalists.
tell that to Schiller and the touchbar. While the execution failed, I think Samsung swung for the fences, something that Apple has not done in a long time.
"The Force is weak with this one":touch bar works perfectly. what's ur point?

Except Apple never set a release date for AirPower and never gave tech media review units that didn’t work. No comparison.Apple have no right to be smug about this Samsung setback given their own painfully drawn out and embarrassing failure to deliver a charging mat.
Wait, so innovation now means folding display? I remember a few years ago when innovation = VR, then AR, then chat bots, then smart speakers. Now it’s folding displays. And next year the innovation crowd will be on to something else Apple hasn’t done yet.Its fashionable to say Apple is not innovating. They are innovating, they will release only when it is ready.
What would you call the butterfly keyboard? In my opinion that is clearly a case of over engineering something and we’re seeing the results which are not good.A classic case of engineering-led product design, which is completely different from Apple's design-led philosophy.
At least they're trying to innovate, unlike Apple shoving down the same stuff down our throats for the past few years and making us pay premium.
As much as I want to slam them I give them credit...at least they are tryin.
Apple failed at making a wireless charging mat and we should throw stones at Samsung? Nah...
I have to say this. People keep referencing the Butterfly Keyboard.
Yes. Some people hate the design, many have had issues with the design. Some have had to get it replaced. The real difference here though is that if your keys get dirty, you can actually clean them out with a blast of air unless you've really mashed that sandwich crumb under there.
With the Fold display, anything larger than a piece of lint is going to completely destroy it. No chance to blow that crumb of sand out. Whats the point when the entire display is broken.
Not even remotely comparable situations, if you ask me.
I see a good amount of them but I feel most people buy them because its the new "it" thing to have, not because it's a revolutionary product, game changing, or life altering, like the guy I originally replied to said.Ah I see you may be from Seattle?
If you visit cities with a couple of million people, you will see *Airpod like devices dangling from ears:
Truck drivers
Soccer moms
Middle school kids
High school kids
Fast food workers
etc
Other wireless brands not so much.
It's a revolution.
An Airpod revolution.
(*Since there are numerous knockoffs not clear that everyone you see has genuine Apple Airpods.)
I can’t think of many instances where I’m somewhere that I need a tablet but only have a tiny pocket to fit it in. I guess maybe it’s for guys to fit in pants/jacket pockets? But it seems quite thick and very tall so how well would it fit in a pocket? And why wouldn’t you just use a phone instead? To me this product is one that sounds cool to techies who are bored and will glom onto any thing that’s different.Still have yet to hear a benefit of this form factor. Yes, the screen is bigger when unfolded, but it’s twice as thick when folded. That’s twice as thick when held to your ear for a call, twice as thick when it’s shoved it your pant pockets, bag, purse, etc.
I respect your feelings, but they are irrelevant as they don't have any factual basis.I see a good amount of them but I feel most people buy them because its the new "it" thing to have, not because it's a revolutionary product, game changing, or life altering, like the guy I originally replied to said.
This would be a supposition on your part, which is again irrelevant as you have no factual basis on why people are buying Airpods. How I came to the "it's just the new it product" conclusion is the guy who replied before you and a lot of other comments I've read always say the sound quality isn't that great, no noise cancellation etc. Seems like people are only buying these because they're Apple and compromising a lot with this purchase.
This is an opinion, which on the internet is numerous. If he would've said something about the effortless connection by just opening the case, or the fact that (I think I read this) you should be able to put your iPhone down, pick up your iPad, start media and the pods automatically just connect then I could definitely see the awesomeness in those features but calling wireless headphones life changing is a huge stretch.
