Well, what part of does not work as advertised don't you understand. What's wrong, did I spoil your precious apple? Don't get me wrong, I love them too- but take off your blinders, and put down the kool aid.
I own a Samsung refrig, washer and dryer. At one time I had respect for what Samsung produced but now that respect has disappeared. In the future, I will no longer buy any Samsung products. Some people could care less about something like this and some people do. Samsung is not helping themselves with their current tactics.
I know... But I make a choice with my money, punishing them for stealing and just copying.... chosing other manufacturer is the only retaliation I can make by myself....
I have found a couple of hickups here and there but nothing that would make me say that iCloud does not work.

What I don't understand is that in the very end there will be some kind of a monetary settlement.
Everything is always about money.
So, Samsung will change the design slightly until it no longer resembles the
iphone to Apple's liking.
Then Apple will license whatever patents they are "violating" whatever that may be if at all found to be true.
They keep buying from Samsung and Samsung keeps supplying.
Get to that point asap, instead of boring us.
Not going to happen. Samsung is too diversified for that to happen. There bottom line will get hurt by their actions. They have already indicated that they are going to change their design to avoid this in the future. Really that is the important part, compete fairly.
You must be joking. Samsung TV's are awful! They are made out of cheap materials, their stands wobble like crazy and their contrast ratio pales in comparison to a good Philips or Panasonic.
I would not give Philips high praise as they can't even build a clock radio that is worth a damn. I know this from first hand experience. I have their SonicCare tooth brush and the santitizer is beginning to fail after a year of ownership year.
Between my SGS issues and a Samsung monitor that failed far too soon (I did fix it for about $10, but some piss poor components in use...), I pretty much wrote them off when we purchased a new set last year.
Went with a Panasonic G25 series Plasma (54", THX, etc.). It's outstanding all around (and no, there's no issue with FBs or any of that other voodoo carped about over on the AVS-nerd-o-rama forums...
We won a bid last year with the Feds, and a large company asked to see our proposal, but we were pretty much allowed to redact anything (as long as there was reasonable cause). So any [proprietary] methodologies, architecture, business practices, etc., got removed, and it was basically 50 pages of black squares

The argument is complete nonsense. There are no subsidies. When you buy a phone that you think is subsidised, you just pay the full purchase price plus generous interest in monthly instalments as part of your contract.
Subsidy is the term used for a discount given on a phone in exchange for a long-term contract with an ETF. You're just being obtuse.

Protecting granted patents and IP is insane? Oh wait, this is the "it's not right to be a bully" argument right?
Lawsuits are how you find out if the Apple IP is valid. Further, are you claiming to know that all of Samsung's lawsuits are baseless, and they have no valid IP to defendMost, if not all, of the IP at the core of the Apple lawsuits is ridiculous?
Well by your own argument that is exactly what Samsung is doing so I repeat the question are you ok with Apple doing it?
