when companies compete it's not the consumers that win but the lawyers. They just pass the legal fees onto their products :mad:

Be thankful that at least one of the two still does a ****-ton of R&D - Samsung. According to last years numbers, over 1/4 (roughly 50000) are employed in R&D, with Samsung spending usd 8 bn (annually) on R&D. (Apple? approx. 20% of that. What a waste).

Jeez.. Steve Jobs is just another businessman. Whatever he says doesn't make it a fact or truth..

I admire what he had achieved, but not as a person.

Samsung have nothing to gain from this. This is just cultural "saving face" tactics from them.

I really feel sick when I see my Samsung products at my home. Was a huge supporter until they went insane.

How much money does MSFT make when you buy a new computer? (excl. licenses?) How much money does Apple make when you buy a new (Apple) computer (excl. 29usd for lion).

Apples and... something very different. Also, i've never heard of anyone buying a new license after switching a motherboard, or anything else. But thats just me.

I thought that was an Apple invention in 2 years when it makes it way into a iToy. Samsung had nothing to do with the research, development and production of it. Just like they didn't do any work into all the components that they supply to Apple.

I think the headline needs to be written correctly. I don't think Samsung are going to start a military coup of Apple. That's a little extreme even for them.

Cheap products for the cheap, not so cheap products for the not so cheap. For example, Samsung has for long used metal and glass in their products. Where else could i have seen that... hmmmmmmm.....
 
You all can take Apple's side since we're all fanboys, but in reality, you have to appeal to both sides.

the history repeats itself with the MacBook Air Clone .... "the Ultrabook"!

they copy everything...
Unibody construction, keyboard, trackpad....
I feel ashamed for them and why I'm having to point out those things? ...it's sooooo evident.

and for saving a couple hundreds bucks , poeples grab those copy and smile thinking they made a smart move...

Check the all-in-one copy crap available ( trying to emulate the iMac)
Make your one stuff , your own idea and let the market decide (instead of judge in a courtroom)

That's not copying, Ultrabook is a new market of laptops, All-in-Ones are a new market of computers. Just because another company makes those two, doesn't mean they're copying, they're just competing.

really, you must not have looked at some of the crap asus, sony and others are putting out as all in one pc's. As for ultrabook, same thing, very lame copies of MB airs. They will continue to copy and will never compete with the Apple stuff.
