Despite all these childish ads (let it go Samsung!) I have never once been interested in their folding phones or leaving Apple for an Android. Like literally never even CONSIDERED it.

Here are the features Apple copied from Samsung:
  • large screens
  • OLED screens
  • wireless charging
  • multi-lens cameras
  • waterproofing
  • fast charging
  • NFC
  • high resolution camera sensors
  • multi-window UI
Still to come:
  • pen support
  • folding phones
  • periscope lens
  • under the screen fingerprint sensor
-large screens ? maybe, we dont know its subjective...for some when the first iphone came out with 3.5" was a larger screen than the flip phones or numeric samsung phones...and from there so on...but yes, larger phones it seems was a good idea and majority is pleased with that
-oled, yep here samsung started it, Apple just follow it making an improvements as well to this tech
-wireless charging (inductive charging) is ok but in general very nice in cars, otherwise not so much
-multi-lens cameras came from Sony, but also from Apple with iphone 7 plus dual camera
-waterproofing? i hope you are joking...maybe you wanted to say water resistance
-fast charging, nice to have and its general good
-NFC agree
-high resolution camera sensors is again a Sony invention not samsung
-multi window UI is a windows/macOS invention UI, so Microsoft/Apple not samsung

-pen support in a smartphone is not an invention almost no one it uses it ,not gonna happen for Apple only if its on tablet mode/folding phone
-folding phones are an invention as per method not for the customer...it take an rock solid smartphone that after a decade is really dust and water resistance and this method just take us from scracth just for having a bigger display. Again, the method is innovative but this cannot be called invention for the customers until all of these weakness are address
-faceID is far better invention and intuitive than USFS, because it works far less reliable than the physical finger print sensor button (read foldable, they took a reliable fast tech and make it worse just for the sake of the new method) and far as i know is not an Samsung invention

Bottom line Samsung is making invention for the bargain rights while Apple is going for customers and global use cases
Probably if Apple didnt even existed , we still had floppy disk and optical drive..remember that Apple was the first to bring USB (an intel invention) to the mac...and everyone follow...moving forward the world, also laptop palm rests and so on...invention for the global customers
Apple watch Ultra has an water resistance up to 100m and water proofing up to 40m....is not like Apple invented the digital watch to do that but Apple is the company for the others to follow and we will see a lot more of this from others

And when Samsung is making these ads...and spending YOUR money for these ads...is making Samsung the most hypocritical company in the world unfortunately (where is the optical drives from samsung devices like laptops, wheres the microSd, wheres the microUSB , wheres the flash support for the smartphones, wheres is the battery user replacement for the smartphones etc etc etc)
I hope those kids from PR copy Apple on how to do adds.
But i also can say that Samsung help the world in this segment, truly help the world by making Oled panels, micro-Led future tech for the decades, with ram ssd etc

Why would they want to copy dynamic gimmick? Their phones do not have a huge wart in the middle of the screen.

...the middle of the screen?

🤔

but they do have a hole punch that can extend to be a notification centre...Samsung did have an island in the Plus models also. And do you even know what middle of the screen means from mathematically stand point ? :) Customers like you has Samsung and Samsung shows it through these adds

Great camera Samsung, well done fellas….
when are you going to add a proper processor……… that’s right, only one manufacturer does that…. and when you’re at it maybe a proper OS would be good too.
14 pro en route this side and next Sept I wont be thinking which device I’ll be buying either.
Nice try Samsung, keep at it….. you will learn someday but not today.

If you like Android great but Samsung seriously have some issues....all they ever do is talk about Apple.
Don't ever talk about your competition....that is marketing 101. They are like a petulant child.
If you enjoy Android devices, go for it.
That's their only tactic to get apple user talk about samsung, ever 😂 😂

The usual shxx from Samsung only to get it blown back in their faces later. Why can they grow up and become a respectable company?

Well, actually, they're right in that for example 8k video is painfully missing from the iPhone 14 Pros.

Samsung today continued on with its ad campaign denigrating Apple devices, this time sharing a series of tweets highlighting Apple's lack of a foldable iPhone and pitting the iPhone 14 Pro's 48-megapixel camera against the Galaxy S22's 108-megapixel camera.

samsung-anti-apple-ad.jpg

"What the Flip, Apple?" reads the first tweet, which points out the launch date of Samsung's first foldable device. The second tweet has the same first-to foldables theme, while the third notes that Samsung devices have had higher megapixel cameras for several years.

Samsung has been sharing anti-Apple ads since before the new iPhone 14 models were announced, and the company has a long history of insulting Apple devices in order to promote its own products. "Buckle up for Apple's latest launch," said an ad released in early September. "As you enter a world where heads will turn, must none in your direction. Where the highest resolution smartphone will be in someone else's pocket."

A second "Join the flip side" ad that came out on Thursday attempted to persuade iPhone users to swap to the Galaxy Flip by showing a diehard iPhone fan lusting over foldable technology.

Samsung has in the past mocked Apple design decisions such as the removal of the headphone jack only to follow suit and make the same move a few years later. Samsung has a leg up in this case as it was first to market with foldable devices and high-resolution cameras, but it will be interesting to see if there are iPhone 14 Pro features that Samsung ends up adopting in the future.

well mocking apple because it doesn't use Technologie wich is still in its infancy?. Me personal i don't like Foldable Phones. Its to me a Ugly Design. if Apple would make a Foldable phone honestly i wouldn't buy it.
As for the "108 Megapixle" i can say..... Megapixel is a Number that doesn't say anything about the Image Quality

Why do Samsung always feel the need to attack Apple? It's a bad look IMO. When was the last time Apple attacked any of their competitors?
Don't remember the I'm a Mac adverts? There were a lot more full on then this little pokes... and everything they are saying is true.

They are right. Most of the new features is what Android phones had from many years ago.

If you want an iPhone 18, just buy a flagship Android phone now.

Apple is just copying Android phones most of the time.

I bet Samsung copies the Dynamic Island in a year or two.

Really says something about Samsung and their product if they have to advertise it by mocking Apple instead of letting it stand in its own.

Apple has attacked Samsung for using a “rectangular“ shape for their phones and they even went to court accusing Samsung of copying Apple.

Now when Apple is clearly copying pretty much everything from Android phones, Samsung is simply returning the favor, but without going to court.

You can pretty much predict what “new features” an iPhone in 2+ years will have simply by looking at current flagship Android phones as Apple is blantantly copying Android phones like Samsung, something that Apple accused Samsung of doing.

I’ve stopped trying to explain to Android users why I buy iPhone. They will never get it, and clearly neither will Samsung.

So, if I buy a four year old Android, I will get the equivalent to an iPhone 14? Sounds great, which one should I pick up?

Just go look around. You will find many of these features on old Android phones.

Always-on-display has been around for more than 10 years even.

Yeah buy a 2nd hand Android flagship now as they are literally worth nothing very very very quickly and the updates stop almost as soon.....unlike my iPhone 6S Plus I sold for 150 pounds last week and still was getting software updates....

Might help....

The first thing you are taught in sales is not to talk about the competition but talk about your benefits, clearly Samsung needs a new head of sales and marketing.

I have been given Samsungs for work and do not like them, always set up call forwarding to my iPhone :)
