I have an insignia coming in the mail today from Best Buy but I had a 5$ off coupon. I’ll update after I install.

Please do. I may just pay the $25 if it means it's guaranteed to fit. I do wish they didn't cut out the area for the camera and left it as a solid piece of glass that covers the camera instead.

I emailed Spigen about the iPhone 8 screen protector not fitting the SE. They replied and said they would have one for the SE in 2-4 weeks. Glad to hear!

The Zagg one fits with no lifting on any of the edges. This is the 49.99 one with anti bacteria and blue light. It even says new spring iPhone 2020 on the packaging.

In my experience with insignia - very worth it. Went on perfect! All sides stick. It barely covers the edges on the useable display but it works and it doesn’t look bad.

Applying tempered glass screen protectors to the iPhone 6/7/8 screens are a PITA due to the fact that the screen edges on these phones are curved so the screen protectors never adhere and stick properly along the edges.

At least this has been my experience with them and I can imagine it's the same story with the new SE.

I bought the Belkin glass protector and it left a weird "halo" around the edges. The screen must have a bit of a curve to it toward the bezel. I couldn't stand it, so $40 down the toilet. I'm going naked for now.

Looks good, I like how it covers the entire screen unlike Zagg which has a cutout at the top and bottom? How is your experience using it, front camera?
I purchased this full coverage screen protector on Amazon, I was pretty happy with it, does cover more than other screen protectors and comes with alignment guide:

MANTO 2-Pack Screen Protector for iPhone SE (2020)

Front camera works fine, used it several times for FaceTime and did not notice any difference in quality.

The screen protector is thicker than others so you do notice a step when sliding your finger across the home button, but does not affect functionality.

The amfilm that's $7.99 on amazon in a 2 pack thats marketed for SE 2020 and 'halo free' is in fact halo free.

I recommend it.

Ripped off my BodyGuardz and threw it in the trash

any halo effect you see is an optical illusion. the little bubble to the right of touchID is where I lifted it and re-applied quickly since it wasn't really well aligned the first attempt and the bottom left is because of that too. its ever so slightly more on the left than right from my doing, but Im happy enough with the install Im not going to use the second screen protector for a while.

Looks pretty good to me. Too bad the estimated ship date is May 20. Just wish it came with an alignment tray like the Spigen.

Please do report back on how well the FloLab screen-protector fits.

After seeing this post I bought the MANTO screen protectors.

Unfortunately I wasn’t as lucky as this guy :( It’s a great feeling screen protector but I got halo/peeling on both of the included protectors.

Weirdly the halo is only along the right side edge, and worst in the bottom corner.
I also don’t really like that the viewing window is slightly narrower than the screen so the edges get slightly covered up.

Ah well—I have a Flolab screen protector on order I can’t wait for. Too bad their shipping is so unclear and slow.
I bit the bullet and ordered the FloLab SE screen protector as well since I also wanted one for my Apple Watch from there. Let me know how your install goes since I know that you will get your first.

Also for others ordering from FloLab, I found out if you add item to cart and enter your email but don’t check out, they will send you email with coupon to finish checking out after a while. My procrastination paid off for once! 😀

Have you tried Moshi screen-protector on iPhone SE 2020?
Moshi protectors have been pretty good in the past for me. They have one for the IPhone SE 2 listed here:

Awesome. Thanks for the heads up. I knew a less expensive alternative would show up. No way would I drop $20+ for a screen protector.

They’re a less awkward cut than the insignia from looking at pics of those too around the home button

Has a nice smooth feel as well

I got impatient so I picked up the insignia from Best Buy yesterday and installed it this morning. No halo and no bubbles. It is a bit thicker than the Spigen so maybe thats one reason why it stays down around the edges? The alignment tool isn’t as good as the Spigen one but it worked. Thanks to those who provided feedback on the options out there.

I tried Blackweb walmart and dollar tree one and they were bad. Ordered Insignia one for curbside pick up. Can't wait to install it.

Got my FloLab screen protector and installed it!
...and it really disappoints. :(

It still halos like other screen protectors. Primarily along the right edge and worst on the bottom corners, which is the main issue we've all been trying to avoid. It just doesn't look as bad as some others because the colored bezels hide the rest of the halo.

And second of all, it is not "3D" like they advertise at all, but a flat piece of glass that doesn't conform around the device. That leaves the edges sharp and displeasing, as well as the Home button hole. Since the adhesive is exposed it's already started collecting dust.

Lastly it cuts off the screen side edges like a lot of other low quality screen protectors. Look in the last photo along the left edge of the screen, those little white lines should be half circles.

It is called an iPhone SE 2020 screen protector but I get the feeling it is the same as their 6/6s/7/8 screen protector based on the elongated light sensor hole.

I have to give them credit, their installation tools were great and the glass itself feels of great quality. But the fit and false 3D advertising has made me really sad. I just messaged them with these issues, curious to hear what they say.

Thanks for the update.
From the 1st photo it looks like on the right side, it goes close to the edge of curvature but in the 3rd photo on the left side there is a big gap or is it because it's a close up photo? Do icons get cut on the right side also? And how do you have round app icons on the Home screen?

Just wondering whether Apple shares dimension specifications with case makers or do they measure it themselves and design? They should have at least one putting on the real iPhone SE unless they assumed it's same as iPhone 8 and only tested on 8 instead of SE.

...and it sucks. With all the hype about FloLab I really hoped for better :(

I'm not quite sure I understand your first couple questions, but there may be some confusion because the phone is in a silver colored case in the third photo. The screen protector covers an equal amount of the screen on both sides.

That screenshot is Discord Messenger (not the home screen). It's the only app I have that has indicators
right along the edge of the screen so I used it as an example.

Really the main disappointment is the haloing on the bottom. It's likely they didn't test it on an SE and assumed it's the same as an 8. Also really bummed it's not 3D like advertised.

I was asking about the edge of the screen protector on the left side which cuts those icons because the screen protector doesn't go all the way up to the edge of the screen and in that 3rd photo it looks like even the top edge doesn't even cover the top bezel, see the white line just below the AT&T logo, is that the edge of the screen protector?

Ohh haha nononono!

What I think you're interpreting as the screen protector, is just the area of the screen I blurred out in Photoshop to obscure my message history. I blurred out the screen except for the left side to show how the screen gets covered by about half a millimeter.

The screen protector is edge-to-edge and does cover the bezels. It is clear in the screen area and is colored black around the bezels, trying to camouflage with the iPhone screen.

Well that’s discouraging, I was really hopeful since they had a SE section on their webpage and only really positive reviews. Really interested on how they reply.

This is disappointing since the Mobile Reviews Eh guy really recommends these, I have usually had really good luck with all his recommendations.

Mine already shipped and I’m pretty happy with the Amazon Manto one, if I don’t like the FloLab, might just put another Manto one on. 😬

I do like that you can’t tell it has a screen protector with a case on since it covers the entire screen.
