I emailed Notes Plus and they got right back to me. You can customize options so I was able to replace the typing icon with the highlighting icon in portrait mode. Now it's perfect.
I have stopped using Notesplus used to use it very regularly some months back I also purchased their in APP feature of converting handwriting to text just seem to be forgetting right now, does anyone know ? how to do it ! Need to be reminded long time no use![]()
The tap the little wrench in the upper right and it gives you the option.
is this the latest version ? I am on the latest version 4.10 and that does not show the top bar as it is showing in your picture ! Still can't seem to figure how do I use my in-app purchase that I had made of converting handwriting to text !
Did you by chance hide the menu bar? This is toggled on and off with the little grey boomerang at the upper right corner of the note page.is this the latest version ? As a teacher, I have been using Notes Plus very successfully with my iPP and Apple Pencil for a few months now. I posted here a few weeks ago but I can't say enough about Notes Plus, it really is brilliant and I cannot do with it. The update was long overdue but it is now up to date and as good as ever.
The main thing is that NotesPlus the nicest inking of any note taking app. Far ahead of OneNote and Notability. To me the main issue is that it lacks a Mac app.I'm also pondering Notes Plus even though I really like Notability, but I can't tell if it's just because I see such pretty examples. There isn't really anything that Notability *doesn't* do that I need.
I'll offer an alternative POV in that I don't particularly like Notes Plus's inking. I think that it's overly smoothed, which is visible while you are writing - the previous letter is smoothed as you move on to the next one - and that smoothing makes the handwriting pretty, but nothing like my own - in fact the examples I see posted here looks very similar to how my writing looks which means we are looking at the smoothing algorithm not our actual handwriting. Notability and Goodnotes have no visible smoothing which is less distracting, and the text may not be as pretty, but at least it looks like my own.
