Not sure last time you could order iphone from iphone apple store app.. right now I am getting an error when checking my eligibility but when go online I can validate my eligibility(ATT). I don't have an warm fuzz about using the app to order the phone.. sure would be nice..

Not sure last time you could order iphone from iphone apple store app.. right now I am getting an error when checking my eligibility but when go online I can validate my eligibility(ATT). I don't have an warm fuzz about using the app to order the phone.. sure would be nice..
Any other issues to be concerned about if I'm transferring a number from T-Mobile to Verizon? Is transferring a number between carriers a possibility during the early order tomorrow?

Is it worth trying to use express checkout if I have to order multiple devices? I would guess not...
if you trying to get multiple iphones, I use same credit card info and have ppl pay you back.. the bitch is getting the order in at all. I be luckily get one order in for tonight/tomorrow.. and that is the point of the thread.. the difficulties even gettting in a single order. I guess you didn't experience the Iphone 4S but I did and was a nightmare. I would expect the same difficulties this time except worst because demand is higher on this one.
i tried the apple store app "pretending" to buy iphone 4 + 4s and got error msg as well - perhaps they are updating system??
I also remember the Apple website was down for like 45 minutes, which was the only reason I decided to try order from ATT. But think there issue with validation with ATT at the time.. What a cluster**** it was with 4S.. Hope not going to happen again..

U.S. carriers Verizon and Sprint both confirmed that customers will be able to preorder the iPhone 5 starting just after midnight Pacific Time. Apple and AT&T have not yet given their preorder times, but based on years past, it's likely they will begin taking orders at the same time.

They said the iP5 will ship next week the 21st, but from my past experience, I have had my Apple products such as the 4, $S, iPads, etc on the same day they were released in stores or the day before. Has anyone else experienced this?

think with iphone 4S they had it @ local station but held it until the day of the release.. mind you i got in from FedEx at 10am day of the release..
Copy you apple id pwd into your buffer so you dont need to waste that 1 second typing it before they lock you out
How long did it take for the 4S to be sold out (particularly the 4S 64GB)? Was it within hours or did it take a day?
It was sold out maybe mid Friday morning.. I expect worst this time around..

Kind of remember this from last year.. Verizon were getting there order filled pre-order night and everyone with ATT was stuck in the mud because ATT validation sucked.. typical ATT poor service..

there is talk that maybe Best Buy will offer a $50 gift card if I upgrade through them. Which is enough for a case or extra cord? Not sure any truth to that rumor..
I expect it to be better. It seems like Apple is building up more stock before launching products now. The last iPad launch seemed to stay in stock longer than most people were expecting. Also, if you look at Apple's plans to roll out the iPhone 5 to other countries more quickly than in previous years... seems to indicate they are fairly confident in their supply.
Also, I know a lot of people are excited about the iPhone 5.. but there are also lots of people that aren't as excited because they have numerous accessories (clock radios and the like) that are no longer compatible.
10-11 hours before ship times were set back but the slip i think was a week. So not bad.
So as thought ATT is starting presale @ 3am or Midnight just like other carriers.
