K I just talked to an Apple rep (Jerald) who told me that iPhone 5 will not be available with Express Checkout. So turning that on won't help.
 
Cant remember but when preordering through the apple website for a upgrade on a AT&T account do u login with apple Id and if so does it automatically take the credit card on file with apple Id or do u checkout and enter a new card.
 
just spoke to victoria @ apple - she said her supervisor just walked around saying there may be a chance it starts at midnight EST.......?!?!?

she also said they ran server tests many times so any problems in the past should improve this year......

MIDNIGHT EST??????? or MIDNIGHT PST???? :confused:
 
Here's how it's going to go down. At 3am Eastern time the servers will be available to pre-order. At 3:04pm the servers will be slammed and you will not be able to order until 4 or 5 hours later. So everyone get some sleep! This is how it happened last year.

Because there are additional steps involved when purchasing an iphone that are not included in other purchases. For this reason, express checkout will not be available for iPhones.
 
Do you know if you can upgrade through AT&T app on the iphone? I remember last year I was able to order through the apple app.
