I ordered mine on the 20th and right now it's down the street at the UPS facility and I need to pick it up.

Been following this thread today feeling depressed that it was only 16GB seeing movement...but I just checked my order and it's preparing to ship!

Ordered 9/20 around 7:30 AM EDT
It must have just changed bc I have been checking pretty frequently. Hope that gives you all some hope
Ok, I ordered an ATT 32gb Gold at 6:30am EST on the 20th, 1 hr before your order. Mine is still processing. I hope to see something today/tonight !!!
Update: Just checked ! "Preparing For Shipment" !! My credit card has a pending charge !!! Yesssss ! I'll let everyone know when it ships.

Mates - Update on my GOLD iphone 5s order on 9/20 @ 9:45 AM EST
At around 3 PM, Apple was trying to process the payment with my bank. However, my car payment took over the money i had on the account and the iphone 5s order couldn't process due not enough funds on the account
Anyways, i went to the bank and deposit cash and called apple immediately. The Apple representative told me that it would take 24-42 hours to reprocess again. I started to get really annoyed at the fact that i have been waiting for the phone to ship for about 2 weeks. The representative told me that the phone would ship no later than friday 10/11. Also, he offered me a "free" iphone 5s case (i choose the brown colored one)
As of 6:35 EST my gold iphone 5s order changed to "Preparing for Shipment " However, it stills says Ships "October".
Hopefully my gold iphone 5s does ship sometime this week and if lucky i should be able to receive the phone next week. What do you guys think ?
*UPDATE: as of 6:44 PM - Apple charged the total amount to my bank account!!

There's hope Michael !! Although it hasn't shipped yet, there's progress ! I will let everyone know when this baby ships ! Just when I really started to lose hope.

It will probably move sometime in the early morning (EDT)... to reach Incheon, South Korea for UPS Flight 99. That flight usually leaves around 9-11 am (EDT). From there (barring any snags) it's just a hop, skip, and a jump, over the Pacific Ocean. Then it will go from Anchorage, to Louisville... then to your home state.
You'll probably see it on Tuesday or Wednesday of next week.

Called Apple today. Wanted to make sure everything was good with my billing information, just in case there was an error. I asked "do you have any insights on when this unicorn-like phone will be delivered?" The rep just kinda chuckled and said "man I really have no idea, if I did I'd be telling everyone that called." I laughed along with him and said "alright man, I appreciate your help" then he said "For being such a good sport about all of this, I'm going to give you expedited shipping." Said it doesn't go into affect until it gets to the states. So as soon at it hits the ground in the US, it will move faster than standard shipping?

Still no one really knows what expediting vs. standard shipping does, or if everyone already gets expedited. Just take it, be happy, and let nature take its course.
Call the rep today and was put on hold for like 3 mins while he checked my order. He came back and told me my order will ship either end of this week or early next week. He upgraded my shipping to 2-3 business days. Hope that is the case!

It wouldn't surprise me that it leaves China before the end of the week. On Friday, it will be everybody's 15th business day (the 20th did not count as one). I would be more surprised if ours didn't move before the weekend.
