If my phone doesn't ship in 48hrs and that charge doesn't drop off my credit card, there is going to be hell to pay !What's going on ?
They have you an October ship date right?

What the heck, Apple? How are orders placed on the day after launch moving to "Preparing for Shipment", but those placed in the morning on launch day (same color & size) are still "Processing"???
I ordered a sprint 32gb gold phone on the 20th @ 6am est on apple site. It went to preparing for shipment yesterday afternoon around 4pm and I received an email overnight that it shipped at 2am this morning. Just wanted to give some people a reference point. Good luck
Oh well, I guess I'm just on edge right now. The last thing I want to see, is a shift back to processing.
Tip your driver, enjoy your phone, and post some pics if you're comfortable with doing that stuff.

Don't know acronyms. I just have a problem with my order going backwards in status. Preparing for shipment to processing. My credit card has been charged yet my phone isn't shipping ? I can deal with "October", dont mess with me by saying the device will ship and then pull it back. I hope it's just a system glitch.
Probably is just a glitch... I would find it very hard to believe that a phone would be ready for you, then be pulled back. What kind of BS is that!?
Maybe you should get in contact with Apple customer service, and have them make a note of it. It will more than likely give you some kind of leverage, should you not see anything move.

I understand your frustration, but there's no need to get all pissy about it or start calling apple. Regardless of what your status says, you're no closer to getting your phone untill it actually ships.
My phone say in preparing for 5 days so you're all freaking out over nothing.
They said you'll get in October, they didn't say when, so anything sooner than Halloween be happy with.
As far as the CC you knew when you ordered that you had to pay for the phone, so who cares if they take the $ when you order, when they process it, or when they deliver it? It's all the same thing.

Still stuck at the freakin "Processing" status!! Come on Apple!
I ordered sep 19 (launched day first 5 minutes) and i just got my iphone 5S now. hopefully you get yours soon. now i wanted to order another one but afraid that it might be oct 2014 and not oct 2013 (ha ha ha).

So I had to go thru the purchase and then return the phone. When I tried to do that there were issue with me buying the phone due to I had to use my name to help my friend's family to open a verizon account last year. So I had to call Apple.com and cancel the order (they can't cancel the order for me in the store, WTH). After I cancel it, the sale took the phone back to the storage room and told me I can't buy the phone as device only?? The phone is foe in-store-pickup only. You have to order it with contract and with in store pickup option. They can't sell it any other way! Different store has different policy I guess. I just have bad luck.... sigh!
