Sept 20th orders with October ship date, Apple.com buyers. [MERGED]

ZhengZhou -> Incheon, South Korea (This plane must be unmarked, cannot find flight number).

Incheon -> Anchorage (UPS 99)

Anchorage -> Louisville (UPS 99 or 109)

Louisville -> Portland, Oregon (UPS 974 or 2974)

Once landing in Portland, it probably will travel by van or truck to the facility responsible for delivery.

I have not seen any flight patterns for Oregon deliveries... so I'm hoping that the flight into Oregon is correct. Otherwise, the rest should all be ok.:)

The plane my phone was on (supposedly), landed roughly 10 mins ago. If I get an arrival scan, then yours might have missed the flight in, this morning. That's really weird, by now you should be seeing scans from within Canada.

I didn't pay for express shipping for this to happen. Sigh. Ah well ... gotta wait and see.

Yes, that happens. I think it maybe goes from UPS's ZhengZhou facility, to the ZhengZhou airport.

This year has been especially messy... so much for UPS's logistics. There has been a whole lot of head scratching going on lately.

Still processing and the pending charge on my CC is gone gone gone! I'm so sick and tired of having to keep my 4s plugged to be able to call or text or do anything! :mad:
 
Hmm... maybe Louisville's scanners must be broken.

I know as soon as I post this, it's gonna start working again... stupid UPS making me look like the boy who cried wolf.:D

Who knows .... I guess for me it doesn't matter anymore ... if they weren't working before then a scan won't show up no matter what. I guess we shall see. You will def get yours on time though. :)

At this rate, you probably will not see yours today. If the past few days have been anything to work on, they're not missing any scans. When we didn't get one from Incheon, the next day we did. Yours got a scan from anchorage, mine was later, and yours is definitely in Louisville now.

Looks like yours will catch tomorrow morning's flight to Hamilton. We'll see how long it takes Louisville to process mine, and if I will join you on the flight.

Maybe it's all the iPhones... UPS doesn't usually have to play catch up like this.
 
All my scans worked, but remember to pre sign if you might not be home. You must sign for it. Like I said before the driver had 70% of his iPhones not delivered because nobody was home.

I'm in the same boat...order 1145am est on 9/20. Only thing I have is shipped between 24-28 delivery by 11/4.

I had also ordered a space gray minutes before on the 20th but I found one on the 22nd at a local Radio Shack believe it or not. The gold is for my wife she doesn't care to wait but it is driving me nuts. The wait continues....

Pre-sign so that they can put it where? Lol. Not gonna happen with a phone that costs $1000. Worst case, I'll pick it up from them directly whatever day I can.

Guess I'll find out soon enough. They only have a couple of hours left to meet their deadline. I wish they would have just told me Friday, then I wouldn't be freaking out right now. :(

Honestly even if it were an option it wouldn't matter -- I (or someone I trust) can be the only one to sign for it. I'm paranoid like that. :p I've had packages left on my doorstep in the past (not UPS) and it makes me very angry. Anyone could walk by and grab it.

Unless it's in Canada at this very moment, it won't arrive to your house by noon. There aren't anymore planes scheduled for Toronto or Hamilton today, but then again who knows. If it shows up today, end of day is more likely.

Maybe you can attempt to get a credit for the shipping. Like you said, it doesn't seem to have made a difference.

Ya I know it's unlikely but I suppose you never know. I still have a tiny bit of hope. What time did the last plane from Louisville to Hamilton leave?
 
I ordered my 16gb silver Sprint iPhone 5S on 9/20 at 7:34am MDT, and I'm still waiting for it. It's been delayed 3 times so far. The latest update says it's scheduled to ship on 10/18, but I've been there before...

My phone has been in "preparing to ship" status since 10/2, so Apple won't cancel my order or change it to expedited shipping. The same phone I ordered has been in stock at my local store since 10/4.

Frustrating...

It was the same for me in Anchorage, yesterday... we both arrived at the same time. But for one reason or another, mine got bumped back to the latest leaving flight out of the airport.

It sucks... but what are you going to do? I wonder if the import people work for the US government. Maybe they're being affected by the shutdown.

Every phone must get an import scan...:(
 
I live in a pretty nice neighborhood and we watch each other's homes. I was home from work when it was delivered.
