A whole pallet of iPhones must have been shipped to AT&T. Mine just appeared in Memphis Tennessee. Delivery tomorrow.

I don't know about anywhere else, but here in Las Vegas we have the thieves that follow the delivery trucks watching for iPhones being left at the door.

One time I got email notification that UPS had delivered, I was outside looking for it when the truck showed up. He had delivered my package (iPod) to the previous stop and was bringing their package to me. He did a quick turn around and got mine while they were on the phone to report the wrong delivery.

One has to wonder why UPS still allows this. If they know such thieves are lurking around, it makes no sense to allow for such happenings. What is the recourse (for the recipients) whose shipments were stolen?

The great demand for this iPhone creates a perfect storm for these thieves.

My 4S was stolen 2 weeks before launch, so rather than buying a 5 I decided to wait. I got a dumb phone in the mean time. I ordered the 64GB Gold on 9/20 at 9:15am after waiting in line and then being told they have no gold phones. After ordering I went to a local pawn store and got a used android. I finally have a delivery date of friday. Mine is stuck in Korea even though there was a flight to Anchorage leaving 2 hours after it arrived. I live in NYC so I hope its here on friday. Im so tired of android and waiting!

Well still no departure scan from Louisville. I don't know what could be going on over there. I know there are no more flights here, but according to them my phone is still "on time." Ya no.

I'm honestly pretty pissed at UPS. I'd prefer if they under promised and over delivered. The shipment of my phone was so tight that they should never have told me today. I'm going to call them this week and tell them I want my money for express shipping back.

Well it looks like they have a full blown problem going on, down there. I still have squat, and the plane landed nearly 5 hrs ago.

Usually it shouldn't take more than three days to get from China to Toronto (even with basic expedited). They really must have known something, this time around.

Honestly I wouldn't be surprised if they exceed my shipping estimate. This cluster**** is really gonna go in my back pocket, and I will have to form a better strategy for the next time I get a phone.

It's probably just going to **** up your order further (pardon my french). Being in shipping limbo, is even worse. My phone has been sitting in Louisville for the last 6 hours, and they don't even have the courtesy to scan the label. "UPS has great logistics"... my ass.

I have had it with this whole damn mess. I just want my god damn phone right now.

Your best bet is to sit at home on the day it's supposed to be delivered. If you have the option to work from home, even better

Last year when I ordered the 5, it took roughly 2.5 weeks to leave the factory. Within 3 days of shipping, it was already at my home.

There have been so many missed flights and holding backs, that UPS look like chumps. These past few days, have been an absolute disaster.

Luckily my schedule on Friday is pretty loose. I can come home, and eyeball the driveway.
