Sept 20th orders with October ship date, Apple.com buyers. [MERGED]

not that i ever thought it'd actually take this long but i'm glad it's here. now can it please not be the 28th before we move into shipping?
My order is suppose to be at my house in eight days, next Friday, but when ever I check on my order status it just says that my order is still processing... Can this be a bad sign?
My order is made by Sep 20, now is still processing, maybe tomorrow will have some move....I hope that would happen and get my phone before next Friday

Well I am heading to bed. As of 1:07 AM EST I am still on processing items. Goodnight to all.
I'm wondering if a Apple will hold on to our orders that have overnight or expedited shipping until the end. This way they can get all the basic shipments on time, and the overnights and expedited shipments will be on time as well. (Nov. 1st) All of us who thought they were being nice by giving us special shipping upgrades were just giving them more time?
I am wondering one thing about shipment, they usually said the business day is our business day or business day in China, because there just have 2 business day in this week. and one business day in China, so if past this week, we have to wait after weekend and hope shipment would send out on next Monday or Tuesday.

Wow nice! I ordered on the 30th, so I'm hoping if I don't see any change by tomorrow, then it'll probably thursday night/friday morning.
oh lookie here, after I called to figure out why my order wasn't cancelled, complained and a less then helpful customer service lady whom I hung up on after telling her I was calling back today to cancel if it didn't ship today... now it's PREPARING FOR SHIPMENT.....so how long will this next process last? Ugggg

Yup I know the feeling. She didn't even offer to refund my expedited shipping or offer a free case. Sorry but I'm calling BS on the person who said they got a free apple tv.....screen shot receipt or it didn't happen
I know I will not get this until Nov 1.....which is complete BS. I've ordered every phone from day one and never had this kind of bad customer service and had to wait so long. Absurd. I miss Steve Jobs.... :/

I have too. I've had every phone since the first gen back in 2007 on launch day. Never has been a problem. They did claim to have sold 9 million of these things, but still, 34 days? I will agree with you and call BS on the Apple TV. Even with a receipt I'd still call BS. Why would Apple give someone an Apple TV because their phone is backordered? Please...

Oh my god, just got the "out for delivery" notification !!!! Staying home from work to receive my device. For those who are losing hope:Ordered on 9/20 @ 6:30AM - ATT 32GB Gold, used standard shipping. It took 35 days from order day 1 till today. Launch day people, keep the faith. If I had to do it over again, I would have waited until Apple Stores had stock and I would have skipped this stressful ordering process. It's almost anti-climatic getting delivery today. I can't wait to get it but a lot of the excitement is gone. More later.......
My Sept 21 order for a 16gb AT&T gold is still processing! I'm guessing mine will ship on the 28th.
