finally
I have been following this thread since September 20th as I do every time a new iPhone comes out. Part of the excitement is reading about other people also waiting for their iPhone. I tried ordering my iPhone at 1201 PST but my autopay didn't work for my phone bill and because i had a 60 dollar balance, it wouldn't allow me to upgrade my phones. It took until 8am PST for the payment to post and , even at that time, I wasn't too aggravated because I thought, it's no big deal, because it's only been 8 hours since the launch time. Well, I've been really surprised that when they said October, they really meant the very last day. I finally received my notice that my gold 16gb att phone has departed China and is on its way with a delivery date of October 30th. This is after compulsively checking every few hours to see if my status had changed. For over a month. I called apple to expedite shipping, which they did for free, and they also sent me an apple tv, which made me pretty happy. I'm going to be sad once i receive my gold iPhone and have no reason to check this thread anymore but them i realized i have less that 11 months to do it all over again.
