Grey edition with red crown is a good match today.

If it's there, it's meant to be...

It was still there, so based on the meant to be theory, I picked it up. I absolutely love it, Series 3 SBSS along with the Belkin Valet dock will be going back to Apple tomorrow. No knock against the SBSS, it was beautiful but the ceramic grey is stunning, online photos don't do it justice.

See, it's stunning! Especially when the sunlinght hits it and it looks steel/titanium. So glad you tried it out!

I wear the watch on my left arm and that means the dot faces away from me.
You can turn the watch whichever way you like actually... It has no true up or down side; you decide yourself in the Watch app on your phone. :)

I myself wear my watch on my right arm with the (non-existing, in my case) dot facing away from me.

I pulled the trigger on the Hermes toupe band. I went into the store to get the saddle brown but thought the grey matched better with the white. I’m still waiting in my white 42 mm ceramic to arrive but will be putting this band on once it arrives. I also agree that the white nike band looks awesome on the white ceramic for workout sessions
Sorry, I am not a big fan of silver lugs on the ceramics:(

The gray ceramic with charcoal leather loop looks great with a suit. Really looks sharp I think. I landed a dark olive nylon sport loop last weekend so I’m done with bands. The olive looks great with the gray ceramic as well.
picture with the olive please :)

Adding some pics to the thread. I also have an S2 SB SS so I had some bands to try on. Link bracelet and sports bands are Apple brand, there is also a thick panerai style band w/ a deployment clasp that I hand assembled and lastly a thinner leather band from Pad and Quill.

Black Apple Link Bracelet looks for me surprisingly well; must be the black adapters :)

This is where the red dot shines; You should also try the latest PRODUCT RED Sport band.. :)

might be even bette Ron the Cearmic grey ;)

I think the red dot more resembles the latest PRODUCT RED Spport Band color and not the previous version ?

Is there a new product red and rose band?
I am not sure about rose, but yes, the PRODUCT RED Sport Band got a more ruby like new color.

I just made a photo where you can see the (PRODUCT) RED (September 2017 Edition) at the left. In the middle the old (PRODUCT) RED and at the right the old Red Classic Buckle. Latter has been replaced since Sepby a Ruby (PRODUCT) RED Classic Buckle (https://www.apple.com/shop/product/MR392AM/A/38mm-ruby-productred-classic-buckle)

I wanted to share my watch bands that I purchased for my 42MM Ceramic Gray Apple Watch. I am a Financial Advisor and I wear a suit to work everyday. I wanted to purchase some conservative looking bands that could work with a suit. The following bands are ordered left to right.

1. Standard gray sport band. It works well when worn during exercise or other casual activities. It actually looks pretty nice with the watch.

2. 3rd Party Black Milanese Loop from Amazon. There are plenty of cheap Milanese loop alternatives. It is not worth it for the price to purchase Apple's version. What I like about this band is it can be worn both casually and formally.

3. Apple's Gray Leather Loop. I find it to be the only band from Apple that looks decent with this watch. It is great worn casually or on a casual Friday at work.

4. 3rd Party Gray Stainless steel band from Amazon. It looks nice. However, due to the size of my wrists being between links it is not perfect. Looks great when worn with a suit.

5. Black Alligator immitation leather band from Clockwork Synergy. What I like about this company is you can customize the lugs and the clasp. I chose Space Gray lugs as it matches the Ceramic Gray the best. This looks fantastic with a suit.

6. Black Vintage leather band from Clockwork Synergy. This also looks great with a suit. However, it is quite bulky compared to standard Apple watch bands. Make sure your shirt cuff has enough room.

Hope this was helpful for those who dress up. If anyone has any other bands they recommend let me know. It is hard trying to find good third party bands. If you want the links to any of these bands feel free to reach out to me via PM.

So is your conclusion the grey ceramic only works with dark/grey/black bands? Or are those the colours that you prefer?

These are simply colors that I prefer. I know some people prefer brown leather or bright colors. However, I do not personally believe they look great with the ceramic gray. Just my opinion though.

The ceramic sure does look amazing! But I think I’m set with SB SS for this generation now. Really like the colour!

Probably looking to get the ceramic next year with Series 4.
