Series 3 Ceramic Edition Owners Thread

So today is unboxing day. Both an Hermès and Ceramic Grey flew in :cool:

On the ceramic, Apple Classic Buckle Bands are IMO a no go. Leather Loops work fine as well as various rubber's (except Hermès).

Overall a great addition. SB SS goes to one of my sons..., the ceramic grey is so much more vivid :)

Great Picts and the watch is gorgeous. But I just don’t like the gray enough to buy it.
But damn it looks nice

Wow - that ceramic grey is stunning. I had been thinking the white was the better looking of the two, but I'm back in the grey camp after seeing these pics. Any chance you could take a pic of the SB SS and the charcoal grey loop? Thinking about getting that band for my own SB SS.

Will do tomorrow, so I can make a photo in day light. Yet combo is perfect due to the color difference.. Same as with the anthracite Nike Sport band :)

I don't think (hope) they change the bands shape too much, as it may annoy a lot of people who have invested in expensive bands. I was thinking of getting the SS SB link bracelet soon, so please don't say that! lol

Health issues definitely interest me!!

Next year may well be another expensive year. I held out on the iPhone X this year as I needed a new phone and couldn't be bothered with the hassle of stock issues, uncertainty, etc. Am sure that X2 will be a much more refined product.

I got an iPad Pro 10.5" this year, so not sure if I will upgrade that in 2018, unless it is something radically different.

But back to cermaic, my wish is for a space black one!

Here you go, but to be honest it is not of my liking. The silver adapters do IMO not match the ceramic grey :eek:

Many thanks for these photos. You've pushed me over the edge. I would like a more formal/dressier band for my SS SB, and I think the charcoal grey leather loop will do just nicely.

I guess the rumors are not true - the diamond coating can actual scratch! :eek:

I can confirm that the DLC coating on the SS SB can indeed scratch and not with too much effort on my part.
 
Was actually thinking of getting the blue leather cosmos strap for the 42mm ceramic to match the blue cosmos case im getting for the grey iPhone X.

Anyone have pics of the combination?

Well, that's true, but the lugs are really not an optimal combo with any leather band. In that way, the sport bands are ideal for the Apple Watch.

IMO the silver adapters are a perfect companion for the stainless steel Apple Watch only :)

Has anyone paired the ceramic grey watch with the fog colored sports band? If so, would you be able to share a few pictures? I like how this combination works with the white ceramic watch, but I figured it should go equally well with the grey ceramic too. I'm more inclined to purchase the grey ceramic, but I feel there needs some more contrast between the band it ships with and the watch...
