Gold SS with milanese September 28th-October 2nd. I fly out of state at 6:00am in the 3rd and am hoping for no shipment delays!

Missed it! And now I have to wait because I'm going to be gone Oct 12-19, so don't want the Watch to come while no one is home. Gahhhh.

I pulled the trigger last night on a pair items. The iPhone was at 12:02 AM, while the S4 watch was at 12:05 AM.

With both of these order placement times, the delivery date is September 21. The iPhone was already set up and all I had to do was to confirm the order. I couldn't do that ahead of time with the watch, but still completed the order within four minutes.

Does anyone remember that website that is used by most MR members that displays a map of the US and then you can narrow down to your area for in stock items at the beginning of the day to reserve for in store pick up?

I know that is a terrible description of the site but I used it for the launch of a previous watch and cant remember for the life of me the name of the site.

They've helped me snag so many sold out Apple items. Last year my iPhone X was due to arrive in December. I put in a request with istocknow late one night and he notified me before the Apple Store opened that they would have them in stock that day. I hurriedly set up in store pickup and had the X weeks before Apple would've delivered it. Got AirPods when they first came out with istocknow. Highly recommended!

If it lines up with other Apple pre-order releases, we hopefully should be able to start tracking our devices around the world starting Sunday! Fingers crossed!
:D

I’d trying selling it. I just sold my series 1 for $100. Apple said it was work $45 lol

My series 3 was worth $225. I'll take it.
[doublepost=1536973807][/doublepost]If you do The apple Trade-In for a new device and your old device still has apple care, do they give you the option to transfer it to a new device rather than get a partial refund?

I managed to get my preorder in at 3:08 but got sept 28- oct 2nd. I’ve never done the apple preorder before and wanted to know if one comes up in store before mine is shipped can I transfer my preorder to a in store pick up?

No. And just a heads up, the preorder dates are severe overestimates. You'll probably receive yours within several days after launch. :)

The aluminum cases took awhile to slip on the delivery date.

SS went back one week almost immediately.

Also the site didn’t open at exactly 12:01 for some of us.

Huntington Beach! I grew up there in the mid-70’s to mid 80’s. HBHS FTW! Great town and great beaches!

yes they do, but I have to call
Thanks. I will probably ship off my old watch before the new one comes due to shipping times. Will it be an issue me not having both watches at the same time?

The fine print on my trade in said if I have any applcare+ left on my old device, they will refund it. But I want it applied to my new watch if possible. However they may get the old watch long before I get my new one.

I think they also set up a queue to limit access to the Apple Store during the first half hour or so of preorders, to avoid overwhelming the site. Seems like this is done randomly based on IP address or region or something like that. I couldn't get into the store last night for about five minutes on any of my devices. For the heck of it, I flipped on VPN on my iPad to connect to my office network, and then tried again and got right in

Such a good idea! I've done something similar with varying degrees of success when I was trying to order when traveling abroad, but I never thought to do it domestically. I see people in other regions getting the store/app to open before me so maybe next time I'll give this a try. Thanks!
