Can't wait for next Friday now.... first AW. I ordered the SB Aluminium for pickup at the store and a SB SS one which was delivery only. I think I'll be keeping the SB SS but hoping that the store might be able to swap the SB Aluminium for a silver one when I go in to pick it up. If they can, I'll be giving that to my wife instead of the Series 3 she was expecting 
Ordered a 44mm SS at 3:06 eastern time after ordering my iPhone. As others have said, when I went to checkout I had 9/21, by the time I finished I as in the 9/28-10/2 window. Payed with ApplePay.
I have gift cards that I want to apply to the order, but couldn’t do it in the app, so I tried calling customer service and was told that the customer service line was down and I should call back tomorrow. If my credit card somehow gets charged before I can get the gift cards on the order I will not be pleased.

Same with others, 44mm SS, ordered after my phone, around 3:06am along with a 44mm SGS (for the wife) in same cart - email received 3:08am. Both had estimates of 9/21, then SS showed 9/28-10/2 on confirmation screen, with SGS remaining on 9/21. Email says the same.

I take it you have to be a Verizon customer to get a watch from them, even at full price?
I set my alarm for 3:56 AM instead of 2:56 AM. I'm such a dumbass. Ordered gold SS 44MM at 4:01 AM EDT. Delivery Oct 12 - 19. Did I mention that I am such a dumbass? I'm going to Texas next weekend so I wouldn't be home to accept it. Will be in San Antonio next Friday. I will probably try the two stores in town.
Does anyone remember that website that is used by most MR members that displays a map of the US and then you can narrow down to your area for in stock items at the beginning of the day to reserve for in store pick up?

No, it was specific to Apple items. I am googling all kinds of ways to find it. It was a fantastic site that updated real time in stock, you clicked a store, and bam right to purchase and hold in store.
May want to try that to grab a SS on launch day.

Ordered a few minutes after the page was back up shortly after 9am CEST, SS 44 space grey with milanese loop (and a few other bands), delivery october 2nd to 9th. Europe/Germany.
I got the Milanese loop with the very first Apple Watch, but that was a 38mm. Since my old bands (and I have a lot!) won’t work on the 44mm, I decided to get the larger band. Pricey, but it looks great with work outfits - very professional.
I also got the pink, silver (sea shell, I think) and black sport loops. Those are my go to bands for almost everything... love that they breathe, dry out quickly if I wear in pool, and unlike the nylon with the buckle, they seem indestructible! The nylon frayed after a while.
Any 44 mm SB SS watches with next Friday delivery? I ordered at like 3:04a and got the 28-2nd window which isn't a big deal. Just curious if any had the 9/21 date.
Seeing some weird activity on my card from Apple, though to be fair I didn't look at all until just now. But to recap, I placed three orders:
1: SBSS 44mm Apple Watch
2: Black iPhone Xs 64GB x 2
3: 1 iPhone case and 2 lightning to stereo dongles
I see charges on my card equaling orders 2 and 3, so those are clearly shipping soon. But then I see two more charges, one for $9.99 and one for $19.44, both from Apple. Anyone know what those are about? They seem oddly specific to be temporary authorizations.
