Series 4 Pre-order thread

Same here. Tired of the same race every year. Got between 10-17 October. Anyone knows if the dates narrows a bit down ? And if I can get bumped to an earlier delivery window ?
 
I almost embarrassed myself here. LOL I thought I had a 9/24-9/26 delivery which no one else got, but I see now that was on the extra bands. The watch ships separately Duh, So yay.. 9/21 delivery on SS Gold 40
Order placed using the app on my phone without WiFi, it connected faster than the iPad or pc, and I hadn’t preselected anything.

It’s very common for people to get earlier delivery

Only got in around 10 minutes after the hour (used both iOS and the website). My aluminum black 44mm with cellular delivers on the 24th. I assume that they can't guarantee delivery to my part of the country on Friday. My wife's gold aluminum 44mm only arrives Oct 3-11.

I was hoping to replace my series 0 for a half marathon on the 23rd, so I don't have to bring my phone along. First world problems...

Yeah, dissapointed a bit too. My app was set to US, and I'm in Canada at the moment, so I had to go through the website, which only got up and running 15 minutes past the announced time. The app worked faster, from what I read. So obviously, shipping had already slipped when I finally could go through.

Ships in 2-3 weeks, delivery between Oct. 2nd and 10th... I was really looking forward to getting it on the 21st... would've been a bit bummed but ok with the 28th... next month annoys me a bit

44mm Gold SS watch with Milanese Loop. Sep 28 - Oct 2 window.
Order went through @ 00:10 (had to order the iPhone Xs Max first).

Hope to get bumped up when the watches start shipping...
 
I ordered my S4 watch this morning, but they have yet to take payment. Is this normal? Do they charge you when it ships?

Same situation for me. I started to order a 44mm Series 4 but changed to a 40mm SS/SB because my current 42mm has always felt just a bit too large. The 40mm's screen is 324 x 394, compared to 312 x 390 on the 42mm, so I won't be giving up on resolution and will actually pick up a bit. I can always change if I decide I want the larger watch. My knockoff link band won't fit the 40mm, so I'll have to look for a new one. I hope they're still available.

It took a while for me to place the order because of an Apple Pay glitch, but I still got a September 21 delivery date, probably because fewer people were buying the smaller watch. I just checked the online store, and the 40mm ship date is one week earlier than the 44mm.

In Norway all the watches now have october 19 as first possible window.
I first got 1 october, but had a mistake in the postalcode, when I changed it I got 10 days later.
Seems harsh ?
 
Can confirm that they do not charge before preparing to ship. They are not allowed to hold the charge on used card for more than one week prior to shipping.

Ordered through app on my iPad. Took a few minutes past 3 EST to get in.

Ordered Gold SS 44mm w stone sport for me and Black SS 44m with BSB for wife. Could have had in store pick-up on the gold but the black unavailable so I took a chance on having them both shipped to my house instead. Got 9/21 delivery on both.

Both of the charges for my 44 Silver Apple Watch and XS Max hit my bank a few hours after I ordered.
 
Got my order in 7 mins after. I’ve got release day delivery.
44mm seashell sport loop.
 
I ordered the Nike version, 44mm and its delivery date is 10/12 -> 10/19.

I'm actually still on the fence to keep the order, but I figured for now, let me get in line, so it doesn't slip further.

My Series 0 is slow, and the battery does not last the day any longer, yet I'm not sure I'm wanting to spend 455 dollars (with tax) on a watch that will last only 3 years
 
3:20am EST for me ordering a white band 44mm stainless and got Oct 5th-12th. Was annoyed that the milanese band had much better shipping times, but I'm not just a fan of that band on my S2.
 
All the stores near me for the 44mm says unavailable for pickup. Does that mean it’s sold out? If I choose to deliver it won’t ship til oct 11
