Ordered this morning Stainless Steel silver 44mm, 21 sept, from Spain.
I was waiting for update my series 0, I hope my bands works fine on the new model, I love the link bracelet and hope it fits like in old models

Go for the pre-order - you'll probably get it much sooner than the delivery estimate!

I guess I will have to. Verizon doesn’t have the stainless steel. Is it better to order from apple or Best Buy? Best Buy doesn’t have a ship date just “will let you know as soon as it’s available “

I ordered the Nike version, 44mm and its delivery date is 10/12 -> 10/19.

I'm actually still on the fence to keep the order, but I figured for now, let me get in line, so it doesn't slip further.

My Series 0 is slow, and the battery does not last the day any longer, yet I'm not sure I'm wanting to spend 455 dollars (with tax) on a watch that will last only 3 years
I have a series 2. The heart rate monitor etc., made me consider this. I too am on the fence. With an extended date I get to play on the watch and cancel it if it does not stand up to its claims.

Decided to say goodbye to the Series 0 42mm SBSS. I got store pick up for September 21st for Space Grey (i can't justify the additional cost for the SS) 44mm with cellular. Finally enough feature changes to justify leaving the costly first generation. Only worth $25 now, to think what I paid for it just a few short years ago.

Check out BestBuy. Apple’s site said Oct 12-19, Best Buy had them on launch day.

Never bothered with the SS and ceramic watches. Never had an issue with them. The price of applecare for the watches in the uk has virtually doubled this year.

Yeah it’s 3.99 a month for 24months so 95$ or 79 up front.

I was going to buy space grey to replace my Rose Gold series 2, but I always thought the SS space black
looked so much nicer when I would see it at the Apple Store. What stopped me was the price. Yesterday
I decided to buy it anyway because that is the one I really wanted. When I buy a watch that’s $700, I
expect it to last my lifetime. I don’t think this Apple Watch will. Either it will stop working or there will
be something better, like you don’t even need your phone.

Best Buy’s page loaded for me before Apple’s so I ordered one there. Went to order on Apple too once it went live and it was already back to October so I left my BB order up. I’ve had oddly good luck getting the Watch quickly with Best Buy in the past, so I’m hoping this works out. Got my order in basically the second it went live a few minutes after 3. Oh yeah, stainless steel 44.

Ordered through app on my iPad. Took a few minutes past 3 EST to get in.

Ordered Gold SS 44mm w stone sport for me and Black SS 44m with BSB for wife. Could have had in store pick-up on the gold but the black unavailable so I took a chance on having them both shipped to my house instead. Got 9/21 delivery on both.

You must live outside the United States?

A) because your pricing seems off
B) because there was no way to get Black SS on launch day in America. Everyone that ordered as soon as the store went up was told 9/28-10/2. Hopefully that is a safe estimate and all of us that ordered SS 44mm will get them next Friday.

No date given

Preordered at 3:06 AM(that’s when store went live for me) from the Apple store app, Series 4 44mm stainless Steel Model, I initially had sep 21 Delivery and as I proceeded to check out the delivery estimate slipped because it took me like 20 seconds to enter information, I was asked to enter my shipping address which was extremely odd as all of that info was prepared in my account the morning prior, I was also asked to enter the 3 digit security code from the back of my CC which also took several adittional seconds and by the time I was done and used faceid I got a Delivers: Sep 28 - Oct 2 by Standard Delivery. I thought that by using FaceID I shouldn’t have been asked to enter much information but oh well, anyways, I’m upgrading from a stainless steel 42mm Series 3.

Do you guys think there’s a chance I’ll still get my series 4 on launch day?

Why does everyone keep saying Verizon doesn’t have stainless steel? I literally have checked it three times now and they have them for sale....

About 4 hours to go. My alarm is st. Let’s hear those stories!

Got up at 1:45 am central and ordered a 44mm Space Gray Aluminum. Got in the store about 2:05 and completed my order along with setting up a trade in for my space gray series 3 for $225. No issues other than taking a few extra minutes to get into the store.

I ordered on B&H at 3:01am ET (confirmation email at 3:02). Anyone else have prior pre-order experience with them? Looks like they may not ship until launch day so I won't receive it for a day or two after at the earliest.

Best Buy only has the shipping option :( I guess I will just monitor on a regular basis the inventory so I can do a store pickup either with Apple or any other retailer while I am in the US between Oct 1 through Oct 10.
