You feel bad for customers who have to deal with it? You mean, take the phone back to be exchanged, free of charge, for a working, great device? Yeah, seems terrible!

Stuff happens with things like this. So what. It's a minor inconvenience at that, for most people. Apple will take care of it. Now if Apple blew everyone off and said tough titties, that would be a different story. However, thats not the case.

Move along.

You said the same thing I did- in a more abrasive manner. In case you missed it...”It’s expected.” Your wheaties must be soggy today. Lol

Stop trying to blame the supplier. We don't even know what the cause of the issue is. Just because Samsung manufactured the screen, they did so based on Apple's design.

Oh, so now Apple is responsible for the great display, eh? When there was no problem, all the apple haters said we should thank Samsung for the display.

Hope this isn’t a widespread problem, mine is due to be delivered on Monday, I guess I will find out soon.

It is that easy if there is an Apple Store in your country. I live in Portugal now and here it would take at least a week or two to get a new iPhone.

The world revolves around Abso. It’s not an inconvenience for him/her so it MUST not be an inconvenience for anyone else. Small-minded, beat-my-chest opinion.

I am a huge Apple fan, love my 7 Plus, but this is just embarrassing and unexpected of Apple. I expect this many people having issues with 300 dollar smart phones. Not $1000 dollar ones. Hope Apple doesn't start going downhill.
They been going downhill since they don’t care about the Mac line anymore and no vision since Steve jobs died.

Another reminder to never buy version 1 of a new Apple design. People that buy Macs know this all to well. Wait a year or two to let Apple get the hardware and software worked playing well together.

Really? People have had these phones a little over a week or so and they are failing?

Any considerable testing would have likely resulted in the green line appearing for Apple testers and employees as well, that’s just a given from the sample size of online users experiencing this so far.

Online about 25 ppl = real world, many many more people.

So which is it? Did Apple not test their device, or are they intentionally covering this up and went ahead with the release anyway (not wanting to push back a release and effect shareholders).

In a rational world those are the only two options. We could choose option 3 and believe that Apple thoroughly tested their devices AND never noticed this issue previously.

Which is dumber to accept?

Logical fallacy. Want to try again, or stick with your ridiculous assertion that there’s only two possibilities?

Yes but remember you can't blame Samsung. APPLE designed the display from the ground up Samsung just manufactured it to Apple's specs.

Right? ;)

I suppose the fact you can't use it in the cold is a safety feature too right :p

Well at least Apple is one of the best in the business for customer service

ROFLMAO. It's a good thing VW had good customer service after they screwed millions cheating on Diesel Emissions. It's a good thing Takata had good customer service after putting hundreds in hospitals with crap QC and Design.

Typical Apple User Denial. There are millions like you out there willing to accept anything Apple puts out there in any state of development. This phone was rushed out. I've stated many times, "Let's see how things are 3m out." If You own a X you are a $1,145 Beta Tester. Hope your replacement works. :apple:

Yup. Very Sad. :apple:

Apple should have known better than to buy Samsung displays.

Yeah should've gone for LG. Whose mobile displays are utterly, utterly dreadful.

Pixel 2 XL....v30. Horrendous.

Anyway a minute ago everyone was quoting Displaymate calling it the best display on a smartphone ever. Short memories;)

Samsung's fault :D
More or likely as Samsung makes the display screen or so I've been led to believe...

No more Samsung!! Apple makes the product,Apple sells the product and Apple gets valued nearly trillion dollars!! So, the problem also must be owned by Apple!! Samsung is not integrating the components and making OS etc in iPhone X

I know people are going to blow this way out of proportion because it’s Apple but let’s wait and see what happens first, if it’s just a few units then it’s within the margin for error BUT if it becomes a widespread problem then there will be cause for concern.

So we have kind of a....coldgate with a green line through it.

Colgate cool stripe anyone :D :p

I did get a green line on a cheap laptop after i dropped it :( by pressing on the bezel in a certain place it went away. I reckon it's a connection issue tbh.

Or people have been dropping their phones ;)
