I don't identify as gay or straight.

I'm coy.

... or stray ....

I thought tomatoes were asexual. :)

... where's your biology 10, Lee? In the flora world, all fruits are female. 'Course there are some varieties that are self-fertile but that's a whole 'nother story.

You don't "love" it in the sense you would a person. You like it like a product that can be replaced, repaired, etc.
IIRC there's a term for the 'love' which is attraction to a thing -- cathexis.
<goes off to check his cathexis thesis.... >
Woo hoo ! the old memory cells still work
"the process of investment of mental or emotional energy in a person, object, or idea."

After all that was said and done I had a friend at college who "came out" and I absorbed some mannerisms. Haha bit silly really, I'm a right chameleon like that. Even pick up mannerisms from TV shows... Alan Partridge and Vince Noir come to mind.

So much was the influence from this gay chap, and the purchase of an orange laptop/man-bag that my dad asked if I was gay :D

Meh I think it's all great. I love seeing people just doing what they want since I'm a pretty conservative chap. That's one mannerism I can't beat

And I hate willies. Willies were not made to look good. Just scrag ends thrown around a bit by a gruff blind pizza chef, picking up his thick chest hair as he molts away over the resulting mess, resembling an artistic rendition of diarrhea and nightmares and years of frustration.

Yikes!
That doesn't sound too good. You might want to have a doctor take a look at that… it doesn't sound normal. ;)

But then again… I like willies. :D:D

I like MR for the reason that "most" of us are able to discuss relationships & experiences pretty openly (with some fairly collegial teasing/bantering), and nobody--for the most part--is threatened by another POV or preference. If they are, they're generally good enough to just keep it to themselves.

Since I joined I have to say that I've been consistently impressed with the overall level of tolerance on MR. Live and let live, I say.

Straight and married BTW (thought I'd better put that in to keep the thread vaguely on-topic!). :)

Why thank you. :D

I'd say that's just about the perfect word to describe the love of a German sedan...:p

EEK! You're right. The fact that I haven't been in a biology class for 20 years is really showing, isn't it?

That sounds like a disease, not a willy. Willies are awesome!

And yet you've clearly been keeping up on your anatomy based on what I've seen. ;):D

[/bad flirting]

Me too. But, that's because I'm an environmentalist.

Well ok, It might also be that, but it's mostly environmentalism. :)
Me too! I'm somewhat of a tree hugger.

No. what you want is a Priapus.
Come again?

EDIT: I looked that word up and i got... "a god of fertility, whose cult spread to Greece (and, later, Italy) from Turkey after Alexander's conquests. He was also a god of gardens and the patron of seafarers and shepherds."

You know what? That just made me even more confused. :(
