Does anyone know if you can use the Speck Pixelskin HD case with this screen protector?

I would venture to say no because the pixelskin HD overlaps the screen and would probably bubble the edges.

Anyone have any good suggestions on removing the GLAS.t without causing damage to the device?

Does the scotch tape method apply here?

I've just purchased a Kioky Screen Protector Applicator from eBay US. Should be here in the UK by next week. Got loads of rubbish screen protectors that i can use to test it out, then if all is well, use it to apply the glas.t

Defo agree they should include 2 just in case you **** the first one up (which sounds very possible!!).

How did this work out for you?

You can align the glast before pressing down to apply so I don't see the need for an applicator.

I have a otterbox commuter case, and i doubt that'll work with the Glas.t . What's the best alternative case that will work for the Glas.t ? Since i'm spending so much on a SP, I might as well spend the extra to get a strong durable case with it.

Suggestions please?

I have been reading all the posts of this thread and finally purchased two of the SGP GLAS.t glass SPs. My daughter has an Otterbox Commuter case for her iphone 4s (black) but I am leery of putting one on it because the sides of the iphone are covered by that case. I have a white iphone 4 and last year I put a Zagg SP on it and the proximity sensor didn't work so I ended up cutting an opening from the slot for the face camera/speaker to top of the SP and of course the proximity sensor started working again. Of course after I placed the order I remembered that issue. I emailed the company to see if using their SP would cause this issue again. Their reply:

Obviously English is not their first language
Hi, my name is Sue from SPIGEN SGP.

Some white iPhone 4 (not the 4S) have a slightly higher sensitivity with their proximity sensor.
If other brands or normal screen protetors [sic] have affected or triggered the proximity sensors, the GLAS.t will not work for your device.
The issue really lies with the device. There are white iPhone 4 and white iPhone 4S that do not have problems.

However, as yours has had issued[sic] with other screen protectors, the GLAS.t will not work.

If you have any additional questions, please do not hesitate to contact us again.

Thank you.

My question is since the SP is glass could it be cut like the Zagg SP by someone who can cut glass? Also has anyone have a white iphone 4 and had problems with the proximity sensor but applied the GLAS.t on it with no issues?

Thanks

I can only say that I've had no issues with mine so far and I've kept it with keys and coins. Been using it for more than a month now. Saying that it won't break in certain cases is wrong of course.

Agreed.

Also had mine *shudder* in the same pocket with my keys for a day straight... not one tiny defect. ^^

I just recently put the Glas.t on my iPhone and I love it! I did happen to get 3 pieces of dust underneath (I lack patience and put it on as soon as I got it) but I can barely notice it, and it's on the white part, not the main screen. I love how you cannot see fingerprints, and it feels exactly like the bare iPhone screen. I'm really impressed and in a couple months I might repurchase and attempt to avoid dust this time around. I have to say, if knowing this can only go on once without completely screwing it up, it was probably the easiest time I have had putting a protector on my phone, no bubbles or raised edges.

Does any of you use it with a leather pouch ?
Is it easy to get out without damagins the glass?

Would like to know this as well. I have a Sena ultraslim pouch and I wa wondering if it will still fit with the glas t on my phone.

Thanks

Update: the sena ultraslim pouch fits well with the glass.t on. As well as the draco IV. The graft leverage case unfortunately does not!

That's a bit of a bummer as that is the case I was waiting for to come available! Hmmmmm...... Need a good looking bumper (not spg with their hefty price tag and plastic buttons for their price it should have metal buttons) and I thought the leverage would fit the bill.

I do have one small area still surrounded (adhesive stuck to the iPhone glass) but it's progressively growing. This spot was originally without issue (no dust or other material under the protector). I'll post up some pics later in the day after I get oob.

Just wondering why this post was downgraded.... Not that it's an issue because I certainly don't argue with some of my -, but for this one?

Interesting product,

If it shutters though, won't it damage the screen underneath? Or is there some protective film between the screen and GLAS.t to prevent the shattered sharp pieces from touching the screen?

Its designed in such a way that it wont scratch or damage the screen underneath when it breaks. Kinda like the windshield of a car

It looks like these are back in stock at the SGP store. Against my better judgement, I think I'm going to buy 2 of them. 2 just in case I screw up the first one.

Pics of my "spreading" issue. There was/is nothing under the screen in this spot. It simply started lifting, away from an edge, and started to spread (I use authentic apple bumper). It was flat at first and for the entire time up until about 3-4 days ago. Unfortunately I don't have a picture of it before with no "bubble" but it's obvious it's growing. The only spot I actually do have something under the screen is still "perfect".
As you can see it is not touching the edge.... Yet. I actually think it's about to touch it if it keeps spreading (why wouldn't it). I am going to contact sgp and see if they will send a replacement. Pics taken with an i4.

I find it quite amusing that someone would give this a vote down. Why? I would love for who did it to come explain it.

Anyway, this is one of the reasons why I've hesitated in buying this product. I'm so curious about it I'm going to have to do it anyway just to see it for myself. It's only money, right?
