Dear New Iphone4 user,

In addition to not holding the phone in a certain way until we deliver a patch we advise that you do not order from our website if you want your items on the date we promise. Hope you're looking forward to our next software update to fix these delivery issues.

Thank you

Steve jobs

lol, now if only that were true...

my iphones in the same lot as yours for dispatching on july 2nd,

do you have a reciept and tracking number ? if so you need to use the tnt international tracking service.

I don't know why it should be Wednesday.

Taken the time difference into account it is only a 20 minutes flight from Liege. So the flight should leave late at night and there would still be plenty of time to be delivered tomorrow. But everything possible with TNT. Maybe Wednesday next week.

Did they say which week?

That would be TNT -> suicide (pun intended)

I also assume that it leaves for Liege, from Amsterdam, today? Let me check flight schedule.

lol well wed next week is the 14th, that still falls under before the 15th (liable to change) on the apple site. id be pissed if it was haha

Mega crapped.

It's not going until tomorrow.

I doubt it is taking the plane from Amsterdam. It is only a 2h drive from Arnhem to Liege while it is 1:20 from Arnhem to Amsterdam. Plus it then would go straight to the UK from Amsterdam

05 Jul 2010 13:32:07 Arnhem Hub Shipment In Transit.
03 Jul 2010 09:12:55 Hong Kong Shipment In Transit.
02 Jul 2010 17:00:00 Shenzhen Incorrect Transit Times In System, Possible Delivery Delay.
02 Jul 2010 14:58:35 Hong Kong Shipment Received At Transit Point.
02 Jul 2010 12:43:00 Shenzhen Shipment In Transit.
02 Jul 2010 09:24:38 Shenzhen Shipment In Transit.
02 Jul 2010 04:22:12 Shenzhen Shipment Collected From Sender.

So when do you think mine will be here???
Wednesday?

well a normal carrier would collect all packages around a certain area. fr, nl, de be. then flight it out late at night. So I would assume it to be in UK early tomorrow morning. Maybe around 2am. But I don't know about TNT.

Someone called home, I couldn't pick up. Dialling 1471 gives:

"There is a symantic error in the application, goodbye"

I expect the lot to be in the UK a tad earlier.

Correction: Is the shipment at the Arnhem Hub, or is it still in transit?

Small Update: Apple shipment status says:
Estimated Delivery Date : 02 Jul 2010
Current Delivery Status: In Transit to Customer - Shipment on Schedule 05 Jul 2010

Anyone want to travel back in time?

I would rather travel into the future, pick up my Iphone and while I am at it get the lottery numbers.

That'd create an unmitigated self-inducting loop with paradox phenomena.

In other words, the variables would have changed when you got back, becuase you knew it. Since you took your iPhone out of it's time, and you took it from your future self, you've created a different future. Who knows what will happen in this new future  - things might not exist.

Pass, I'll wait.

My iPhone 4 is ~4ish hours away in Spokane, WA. Delivery date is set as the 8th. Home delivery is closed the 4th, 5th, and 6th, so it'll be sitting in their facility until probably the 7th or 8th. A bit lame, but c'est la vie.

I've waited since the 15th of last month, a few more days (probably) won't kill me.

Annoyed

I'm waiting for a 16th June order to arrive - and yes its another one on a slow boat from China - now having a vacation in Arnhem.

I'm hoping for a minor miracle tomorrow where my postie at work just drops it off at my desk about 10ish....

:apple: and TNT suck!!

Can someone explain what the 08 july date stands for? Is it the delivery date? Or is it the date on when the next shipping update will be? Getting no good answers from apple as why my delivery date has been pushed back from the 7th to the 16th...

That's when it was updated.

EDIT: people to pick up their July 14th orders tomorrow.

Int'l shipment release??????

Int'l shipment release

I have been tracking my iPhone daily. It was shipped 7/2. It arrived at a Fedex facility in Memphis TN on 7/4. It departed on 7/4 and arrived at the destination sort facility in Chicago 7/5. I live in a suburb of Chicago. So I figure it's now in my area and that it will be delivered by 7/7 or 7/8, which it probably will be. However, when I later checked the tracking I saw that it was sent back to Memphis and shows an activity of "Int'l shipment release". That doesn't make sense to me. I called Fedex but non of the office staff is working today. Can anybody explain this logic?
