Hey ChunkAhoy,

are/were using the Flo Arm or Flo Plus?

I recently got the envelop desk and have concerns about mounting the TB display on the desk due to the 20lbs Flo arm limitation. The flo plus can handle more weight but I don't know if they make a low clamp for that arm.

Much appreciated,
Zan

Hi ZanNakari,

The arm is have is the Flo... not the plus. It's ok with a cinema display but i wouldn't put a much heavier monitor.
Sorry for the late reply also, i havent been on the forum for a while.
Hope it's not too late to help! :)

It's a bit dark in this photo, but here's my humble setup. I recently picked up an official Apple refurbished TBD for a pretty good deal (about US$550) so thought I'd give it a go with my 2012 15" rMBP. So far so good, and it's allowed me to clean up my small desk and save some space. Just need to work on the cable management.

Here is mine. Two thunderbolt displays on human scale monitor arms.

The arms are expensive, but worth every penny! They are super solid.

Well… After Ryan0751, it will be hard, but oh well… Here it goes my desk… :) lol

I'm sorry for the bad quality of the dark image, but my camera sucks in the dark. :)

I have a strip of leds behind the display and they work wonders for my eyes and i recommend to everybody that has to work several hours in front of a screen…

Would you mind elaborating on why and how the LEDs help please? I do a lot of late nights in front of my mac and get eyestrain...
