nice. good job man.

Received an email from the Devs for iStat today, they have released to a few people a beta to test... And its working nicely.. Apparently the SL version is just around the corner!

Can someone please test the big CS4 Apps like AE and PS?

All work as a charm will upload test video on youtube tomorrow to prove :D

guys this is still beta most of the app is for poor developers or old apps who don't have the seed of the SDK so probably when it will become public most of them will update so don't worry :D

If you use an application that requires Rosetta, software update will pop-up with a window telling you need to download Rosetta to run that software. I wouldn't install Rosetta on customize installation until I need it (maybe) on a future software download

I always need rosetta. For some of my apps i didn't list. Also did anyone notice better battery life? Mine gets 3.10Hours on full charge and 3:30Hours on CMD,ALT,CTRL 8 which does for typing out texts etc. Seriously and my battery is a year old and has 3?? Cycles.

Doesn't work:
DataBackup 3.05 is a no go.
RealVNC is all jacked up...screens do not show properly from guest

Works:
SuperDuper!
JollyFastVNC
NetBarrier X5
RSA Secure ID Pin software
Boxee
Lightroom

Can someone check to see if any of these work:

- XSlimmer (I know I won't need to use this as much with SL, but with non-Apple App's I bet I would)
- Relationship
- TuneUp (the music tagging app)
- Microsoft Office 2008
- Handbrake

These are the only things I consistently use, if I'm without other apps until an update is released I won't explode or anything. :p

Xslimmer works. They just had an update recently that provided Snow Leopard support.

Handbrake seems to work, or at least it opens.

Handbrake works for the most part, but I have had it crash sometimes while reading discs. This didn't happen once under 10.5. Just restart the app and read again and it works fine.

Works with no problems for me. I opened several of my existing Word, Excel and PowerPoint documents and all was OK. Running 10A432 (32-bit kernel) on 2008 24" 2.8GHz iMac.

Was also able to launch Photoshop CS3 and Illustrator CS3 OK. Illustrator crashed after opening a file, but then I re-opened the same file and it stayed running. So maybe some stability issues with CS3...will need to test further.

Edit: Should also mention that Papers from Mekentosj starts up fine. I haven't done much with it yet, again...will need to test further.

From what I've read, SteerMouse doesn't work in Snow Leopard. I'd love to buy SteerMouse, but I won't until they release a update for Snow Leopard.

I have Steer Mouse and it seems to work fine. And also I wouldn't expect an update for Snow Leopard, at least not anytime soon.

Growl isn't working for me, when I install it it restarts the Preferences Panel in 32-bits mode and them the Preferences Panel doesn't work anymore -.-

I can confirm DNS-323 NAS Samba access is not broken. It prompts me for username/password every time even though I pick to remember. It connects and I can access files fine though.

Was this with 1.07 or 1.08b5?

I'm running 1.06 and even after entering the username and password, it gives me some error and I cannot access my files. It just cannot mount the volume.
