It's only showing as available for home delivery at the moment. As soon as the stores start to get deliveries you will be able to reserve it for Collect@Store and check if your local store has it in stock.
Just got SL off Pat the postman!, will be installing it now.

Mine arrived about 11am today despite there apparently being no post today. All installed and working great.
Only problem I have encountered is with Virtualbox asking for permission which other people on the VB forum have mentioned.

Still no sign of mine up here in the North East. I'd forgotten all about Snow Leopard until reading this. Apple have failed not getting it out in nearly enough time.
I'm over in the east of england and I haven't got my copy yet (waiting on the family pack!)

I have had more crashes than you can shake a stick at. I'm sure with some updates things with improve but for now, chill, Sl ain't that fab.

Im hoping my copy will arrive at work tomorrow.
When I originally ordered (on Monday, the day it was announced) the Mrs was going to be out on Friday, so I opted for delivery to work. She changed her plans 🙄 on Tuesday and decided she would be at home, so I thought it would be a good idea to get it delivered there just in case they missed the Friday delivery. But when I tried to change the delivery address (on Wednesday) it was too late - 'prepared for shipment'. So Friday came and went with no sign of Snow Leopard. Of course work was shut Sat, Sun and the Bank Holiday, so I am still waiting.
OK, so it is not the end of the world and no one died, but Im also a little bit miffed that Apple failed to deliver SL on Friday. We pay premium prices for Apple products and expect (not, I think, unreasonably) a premium service. They have failed to deliver (literally) this time 😡

When you ordered via the up-to-date program did you have to post any paperwork into apple as well?
Im still waiting for my SL and there is no mention of it in my Apple account.
I purchased a MBP in june and filled out the online form with serial number and paid the £7.95.

I have still not received my copy of SL.
When Leopard was released, I received my copy in the post on the day of release. I was very happy.
I took it for granted that the same delivery scenario would apply this time, but it has not. I believe Apple could have stated clearly that delivery would not be made on the 28th unless a premium delivery option was chosen.
Can anyone explain the logic of not being completely transparent about delivery? 🙁

They live in Scotland.
Today's not a bank holiday in Scotland, so they get their post delivery as normal. On the plus side, that means the likelihood is that it'll arrive tomorrow.

Mine also shipped from the Netherlands and my est. delivery date is Sep 3. Hopefully G3 may have handed over to Royal Mail already (this is how they work with bulk mail in the UK, so the website says), so I could be getting it tomorrow or Wednesday....

I ordered my copy of SL through the up to date program three weeks ago and got an e-mail confirming delivery on or before the 28th August, i have just checked the tracking page and it is now stating mine is being shipped from the Netherlands now instead of Ireland and is giving me a delivery estimate at the earliest 7th September ?? 😱
I have just spoken to Apple and they are now telling me certain shipment batches have been redirected to ease demand throughout the world as they have been overwhelmed with the interest in the update!
As you can imagine i am slightly miffed about this and i have asked the possibility of a refund on the postage and i have sent an e-mail to Apple and i am waiting with baited breath for a response!
Has anyone else suffered this 😕

Ordered the family pack last Monday afternoon, was shipped on the 26th, post has been and gone and still no SL, Royal Mail are so incompetent, as the old saying goes they couldn't organize a piss up in a brewery and thats when they are not on their what seems to be by weekly strike. 😡😡
Im going to order off Amazon with my prime account and get guaranteed delivery tomorrow with City Link and if the Apple one ever turns up its going back,( knowing my luck they will both show up tomorrow😕)
