Just installed on my main machine (MacBook Intel Core 2 Duo, 2Ghz, 3GB Ram).

Reclaimed 25GB of space! This was a fresh Leopard install only last week as well on a 500GB drive. It looks like it re-addresses the hard drives total capacity.

The upgrade has remembered everything on my system, too much to explain but you'll know what I mean when you upgrade.

Caffeine works on reboot and my tinkertool modifications to the dock have stayed in place, as well as my hot corners preferences.

xBench before SL - 122.98, after SL - 125.13
But on my friends Macbook which is a little better than mine, the performance was worse by about 4 points! Weird.

Most couriers deliver on Saturday if Saturday delivery has been paid for. If not, it's Monday-Friday.

Which is why, if its been sent as a small packet by normal Royal Mail services, your postie might deliver it tomorrow. If its coming by Royal Mail Parcelforce, then you're looking at Tuesday now.

Think about it as well : FedEx Is probably just pulling up outside all the houses of the americans... :(

EDIT : I'm trying to get through to Apples order tracking line. Been on hold for 20mins. Are you all phoning them too? LOL

No sign of my copy here in Bournemouth, and the nearest Apple Store is in Southampton so that's not really feasible at the moment.

I must admit that I'm not optimistic about it being delivered as a separate package either, because surely at least someone here would have received it by now if that was happening. I wish I could remember how Leopard was delivered...

Oh well. Fingers crossed for tomorrow, then.

Toast boy - did postman pat deliver it in a van, or was it in with regular letters?

just called the house, got them to open the box, was only expecting 2 things to be delivered one a sim for 02 the other SL but low and behold something turned up which i already cancelled,

sorry guys :(

Am quite sure i saw notices about strike action at the Royal Mail depot on Eversholt St (behind Euston) when i was there to collect a parcel earlier this week.

Scroll down to 27th and 28th - 'London Division Mail Centres' 3,500 on strike.

Same, awaiting my office to drop me an email should anything materialise. Don't think there's any strike action affecting London today though?

I take it you did an archive install then? Not an erase install.

Hmm, yeys, it seems you may be right. Though the Royal Mail seems to be playing it down a bit.

Oh well, if it doesn't turn up, it doesn't turn up. Won't be the end of the world!
