Snow Leopard Shipping? [merged]

I'm in holland here and it hasn't shipped yet.

I do hope it ships soon otherwise I fail to see the point of pre-ordering online.
 
my UTD order still hasn't shipped..

btw, a little reminder for those that didn't read, there's a link to a widget at the beginning of the thread so you don't have to keep going to apple.com :)

I see no reason why not. I'll wait though for mine to arrive. Although, I was thinking before I pre-ordered to go to Lakeside and buy mine from the Apple Store, but then I thought. It's a OS released and if the Apple Store was packed full the day it opened, I can imagine who worse it will be when the new OS for $29 hits shelves. Also, will they enough copies for everyone or will I have to wait for one.

So I decided against the crowd and uncertainty. I know it would have been fun and all, but still.
 
Is it a cause for cocern if I haven't received any purchase notification or tracking number for the up-to-date program? I pre-ordered about two weeks ago...

ahhh. Nevermind. Mine says ships by Aug. 28th. Sorry

Apple store in lakeside had no clue monday when i called. So i decided to go with the pre-order. Also there's usually a lot of havoc in there. It reminds me of a sprint store.
 
I placed my UP TO DATE order on Jun 18, 2009, and it still shows as NOT YET SHIPPED, I have called Apple and asked why it has not shipped and why others that ordered this week already have tracking numbers, they could not come up with an answer and they only said that it will be delivered tomorrow. I have no faith at all at this point that it will arrive tomorrow or at all so I guess I will be heading to the apple store to pick up a copy!!
 
YAY! Just got the email that it shipped. Fed Ex. Should be here tomorrow!!! BOOYAH

They know, it's just like you said, it'll be a havoc when people flock there. So they are trying to even out the load.

I was also thinking of going to Baton Rouge (a 45 min drive for non-Louisiana residents) just to get my copy. Baton Rouge's store is bigger and better adept for huge crowds. Besides, it's prettier.

Overnight is overnight. You will get your copy by tomorrow at 3:00PM even if Apple sends it at 5:00PM today. Just be calm dude.

They prob been shipped i bet the order dispatched papers have prob all been group into different piles and passed to different people in the office who are slowly working their way through them. :)

They shipped most of them this morning, but are just now getting the emails out!

mine has shipped! woohoo!! Now I just have to leave the signature thing on the door so I can pick it up during my break.
