Snow Leopard Shipping? [merged]

Yeah mine is coming from the Netherlands. Chances are going to be slim we see it tomorrow! With the Bank Holiday weekend I reckon it might not arrive till Tuesday as I live in the middle of nowhere.
 
Shipped - on a bank holiday weekend. Bleargh!

Is it possible to find out where it shipped from?

But how do we know WHEN it actually shipped? I got my email at 0222 this morning so that says to me it was just when their systems updated. Maybe it actually got in the hands of Royal Fail on Tues or Weds...? Hopeful thinking.

Most likely Wednesday. In that case it should get to you on Friday, if all goes well.

UK UTD order. Got email this morning but apparently it shipped on the 26th.

UK orders don't come from Amsterdam
 
Mine have changed to Preparing for shipment on the US order section. But is still estimated Shipping by august 28th on the DK/UK store.

Ok, I thought if we ordered by midnight pacific time (26 minutes ago) we got free shipping and delivery on Friday? I order, I get the free shipping after getting hit with tax but get this instead:

Are you F'N kidding me? 3-5 days to ship? WTF. They sure didnt wait 3-5 days to hit my card. Guess I should have just pirated it like many others. Guess next time I know.
 
Still "prepared for shipment" :(

I ordered it together with another product on Monday, and said the other product would ship within 24 hours, and the site says they'll ship separately as they become available. However, neither of them has yet, and it's getting close to 70 hours. I'd bet money that despite what they said, they just held off on shipping so they could send them both together.

Didn't it say if you ordered before 12 p.m.? That's noon dude.

Well I would have gone to the Apple store here in Tampa but the morons decided to renovate the store and will re-open Sept 18. BTW, the email I saw last night said 12am Pacific time. It would be one thing if it is a system or a piece of hardware, but its freakin software. Throw it in an envelope and out the door. It takes them 3-5 days to put it in an envelope?
 
mines still not even prepared for shipping yet.. i ordered monday with the UTD price..

Well it's probably more like they're downgrading the shipping from priority. Why they did it if you ordered on time, I don't know, but chill out, all you'll have to do is wait a few extra days. I give you my personal guarantee that Leopard will not suddenly stop functioning in the meantime.

I know that but its the principle that you don't hit someone's card until it is ready to ship. Standard biz practice.
