Snow Leopard Shipping? [merged]

So at the moment is it just people in the UK, Ireland or the Netherlands who have had their orders dispatched? Anyone from another EU country? I ordered from the German store and I'm still set as "Prepared for Shipment".

so all orders prior to thursday should get it Friday....mine in the store just says "Shipped" didnt get an email confirmation or any tracking information...so im wondering if that just means "Prepared for Shipment" or what.

Looking forward to seeing the kind of improvements this will bring.

Just did, and if so that will be great news.
But a part of me still wants the order to come on tuesday and wait the weekend for any bugs. That was the initial plan, get the thing on the release date but install it after a few green lights
 
With Leopard in 2007, Apple shipped all the preorders out with overnight shipping.

I think that's the only way to guarantee it will be delivered on the date they say it will (August 28).

So they should be going out today.
 
Email came through on my iphone about 2.30am this morning waking me up to tell me it had been shipped. :D

Now its a question of whether the posties are on strike again?! :rolleyes:

Tried to Edit earlier message but it didn't work.

Although I received the email at 0228 this morning, Apple actually say it was shipped yesterday and en route to either my house or local depot today.

UK orders are shipped from within the UK
 
Got a uk shipped notification here! I prob wouldn't read too much into ship dates as prob all on a big boat then gets filtered into the postal service. Also when it got shipped will be difficult as it be some person on a comp doing a back log of orders.

So, as long as your order says its been despatched by midnight tonight, I think if you're in the UK you've got a pretty good chance of getting it tomorrow.

Just got my email to say it's shipped.

however, this could screw things up for people
 
The email says:
We are pleased to advise you that your Apple Store order ****** has been dispatched by mail and will be delivered to your shipping address.

but the Shipment Status (on the website) says:

So I guess it could get here any time between now and the end of next week.
 
hmm..my status was just updated to "shipped on: aug 25"
that´s two days ago, took some time to update the status I guess. I´ll get it tomorrow then :eek:

I ordered it yesterday, it says it will be shipped tomorrow, so I guess no SL on launch for me :(

Will probably get it early next week then.
