Your link is broken, but I know it's to do with the postal strikes, however, that doesn't affect everyone, there is not a postal strike where I live, they're all too sensible for that :p

Got a shipping confirmation today, saying I'd get it within 3 working days, which puts it around Tuesday time, which also happens to be the day I've gotta take my MBP back in for repair once again. Fun.

Good god, don't whine, the OS is £25/$29... I fully expected to get the OS next week (I ordered it on Monday), it's said time and time again that it's shipping August 28th, which generally means, Apple hands it over to couriers and the postal service ON OR AROUND THAT DAY, it then takes time for the courier and postal service to deliver it all, unless they're supposed to give up all the other items they have to deliver and solely personally deliver SL just for us, because it comes out tomorrow, and if you don't get it there and then, it's the end of the universe... sheesh, some of you people are never satisfied.

*dons protective flame suit* Bring it fanboys...
 
Some of you need to start accepting you won't have SL tomorrow.

That is, if you ordered online. Things are about to start looking bleak. Don't want to be surprised.

I got shipment notification at 5AM this morning that Snow Leopard shipped on the 26th, however I am not expecting it to arrive tomorrow morning as it says 3 business days. Fingers are crossed though. Order Status estimates 2nd Sept

Ordered mine Sunday and it still says not shipped :(
 
Ordered on Monday, pretty much as soon as it went up. It has been "Prepared for Shipment" for days now, still says Delivers August 28th.
 
Just noticed when I clicked "Track my order" I get this:

Estimated Delivery Date (Subject to change):
02 Sep 2009 (Subject to change)

Current Delivery Status:
Postal delivery - please allow 5-10 days for delivery 26 Aug 2009

Again, fully expected to be getting SL around the 2nd, so nothing to complain about really.

When I called Apple the other day they didn't help at all, apart from the bird on the phone told me it would be shipped from their depot in Leicestershire.

This means it went from their warehourse to Royal Mail on the 26th, then sent to my local depot today, hopefully, and this is with fingers and toes crossed, delivery tomorrow. But it's Royal Mail, so it will be after the Bank Holiday

The shipped to xxxx, GB is the post office about 5 mins from my house
 
I just called Apple (UK) and they informed me mine was shipped this morning and should arrive Tues FML.

I may just go into store tomorrow buy it, keep receipt, then take back the copy i ordered online with the in store receipt, that should work fine.

What?!? where did i whine? I would like to have it tomorrow but I dont going to cry if I dont.

I mad the :( face because I would prefer to have it tomorrow, but I dont expect to get it.

Link is working fine for me (but I did put it there so I guess it should)

Was all about a postal workers strike.

Hopefully it will not effect the delivery.

It didn't say it was shipping on August 28th, it said DELIVERS ON August 28th. It still says that in my status but it hasn't yet shipped. My guess is it's going to be shipped via overnight today.

I'm not going to cry if it doesn't arrive tomorrow, it's just the principle of Apple posting "In store or at your door on August 28th," then not honoring it (if they don't arrive tomorrow).

That being said, I'm pretty confident that they will be delivered tomorrow. Apple is usually good with these things, save for the 17" MBP debacle, but I got lucky and mine shipped the night I ordered it back in Feb.

"Delivers by August 28th" has changed to "Ships 3-5 business days" on Apple's site, so I'd assume they gave themselves enough time to process and ship all orders prior to the change.
 
I got a shipping notification. FedEx shows it being scheduled for today's delivery. That would rule, but I doubt it.

Your lucky! It should be delivered today. Mine would be arriving at the same airport and it hasn't even shipped! I pre-ordered on Monday and still says "prepared to ship". I sure hope it does arrive tomorrow.
 
I was just wondering if anyone else had the Sam issue and it seem people did. I wanted to know your opinions. If you guys say call apple I'll call apple.

I'm sorry. I'm new here...
 
Ordered mine on the 24th from the Canadian store and within the past 10 minutes just changed to "Shipped"

I'll probably end up going to the apple stre tomorrow morning and pickin up a copy and then returning the one I bought online
 
I am very sad! I ordered mine from the Canadian store on Aug 10, and it still says "Not yet shipped" and says "ships by Aug 28." No fair! :p
 
Mine has gone to shipped now. 5-10 days though, but with any luck it'll come tomorrow so I can set it up over the weekend.
