So... No white iPhone 4?

I've waited this far, and now I'm starting to get really irritated that there's been no update. And now my 3G is starting to die. Hopefully my 3G wont die and the white iP4 will come out in the next few weeks.
 
I got a black one and that is probably what I would have gotten even if the white one had been out but I really understand the folks who are waiting for the white one. The white iphone is really sharp. There are some cases that look especially nice with the white iphone. I hope the wait is not too much longer for you diehards. Insert Tom Petty song here :).

I think you'll be waiting longer then a few weeks. If your Apple and the White iPhones 4 can be made for now would you make them now or wait/stock pill them till mid/end of November and get the iPhone back in the news and bring the hype back right before the biggest time of the year for sales and shopping. Why would Apple release it now? the black iPhone 4 still have waiting list! the demand is huge still, I'd wait it out a bit and try and prolong the iPhone 4 craz and make the news headlines again right before all the xmass shopping.
 
Sold my white 3GS and picked up a black refurb 4 on ATT's site. Since Apple was kind enough to exchange my $29 for a white bumper, I figure that'll get me close enough to a white iPhone.

If they release the white phone in the next 30 days, I will reconsider my plans. In the mean time, I'm stuck on a 3G so FedEx can't get my iPhone 4 here soon enough!
 
I've had enough of waiting, and will definitely buy an iPhone 4 tomorrow. I just hope it's the WHITE!

Don't let me down Apple!
 
I'm a little tired of waiting. Plus my 3g has been freezing up a lot lately.

At this point though, I may as well wait it out until the end of this month and see if the Great Pumpkin brings me the white iP4 :D
 
Just wait for Apple's "White Christmas" ad campaign. You know they've been holding out just for this.

I really couldn't blame Apple if they are waiting to do the "white Christmas" thing. That would be a great campaign.
 
I really don't understand how apple botched the launch so badly. You'd think they would have at least retaken the bumper product pictures with a black phone so people could actually see what the bumpers look like on the phone that is available. Release the phone or pull all mentions and photos of it off the site until it is ready to be sold.

Their whole handling of this has been extremely sloppy. If their "manufacturing issues" claim is indeed true, then they are basically admitting that they rushed into production without adequate testing on the manufacturing process. Way to go, Apple. :rolleyes:
 
With the numbers of "OEM White glass plates" floating around on the internet, and the problem people experienced with them, it could really mean a botched design/manufacturing process. Better to have a delayed working design than a massive recall later.
