So... No white iPhone 4?

I guess it would be plausable. I would just love to see buster dressed in a black turtle neck getting set on fire or thrown thru a windshield or something
If Apple had no intention of releasing the White iPhone at some point I'd imagine they'd scrub their website and online store of images of the damn thing.
3 years and 3.5 months for me.
they're heartless bastards clearly.. and as mentioned before, the more I think about it, the more troubling it seems that they can't even give us an update on its current status. it just doesn't look good.. sigh..
This is getting really old. Steve Jobs doesn't care about the consumer, he doesn't care about the company. He cares about how much money he can make off of a product. He's not going to release one color to each phone provider as they open up in the U.S., he's going to release as many iPhones as possible.
Plus, if the white iPhone went to Verizon, no other country, save China, would get it, since it would be CDMA. So why would it be advertised on every Apple online store worldwide, since 99% of them are GSM carriers?
everytime I see one of these threads my decision to get the black after the "later this year" announcement looks better and better. I really cant believe anyone is still waiting for this thing. were already 4 months in before you know it we'll be 6 months in and halfway to the 5. its pointless. just like if the 4 really does goto verizon in january. who the hell would buy that knowing the 5 is going to be out in a few months. I suppose people who refuse to leave verizon but theyll always be a step behind.
If the next iPhone that's released after the iPhone 4 follows the same trend as the others, I don't think it really matters that it'll be at the halfway point. the 3gs wasn't that much cooler than the 3g anyway.
I wouldn't beat myself up too much about getting a white iPhone 4 six months before the iPhone 4S comes out or whatever it's called.
I agree, but I am kind of nervous about that. I think Apple should change the form of the iphone next year in order to get past the antenna issue.
I have only had the 3g, so I am not as familliar with the upgrade program. If someone buys a white iP4 in November, they would not let you upgrade in 2011? It seems like they always let you upgrade in the next callendar year.
still waiting for the white one, and I'm glad I have waited, by the end of october more carriers will get the iphone 4 officially in germany. I just have seen this ad pics on macrumors and it reminds me how sexy the white one looks, I have to say I like this case..
People who bought the 3gs soon after launch date were able to get the iPhone 4 for $200/300 even if their contracts weren't up, so yea. it's likely, but you never know.
Everyone I know who has the iPhone 4 (only 6 people including my mother), aren't able to lower their signal when holding it with the death grip and the design is really nice. The article about the Verizon iPhone even says they're using the same design, if I'm not mistaken. I doubt the next release will look any different.

pretty sure those are just black ones that swapped the front, back, and headphone jack and dock connector port... and they also did something to the box the true test is to plug it into itunes and see if it shows up as a black or white iphone and the model number is emc 380A instead of emc 380b like the black one

white and black do not have genders associated with them, as opposed with pink ( and sometimes blue) being associated with female/males
