So whats the average age of macbook pro users...?

Turned 55 a couple months ago and bought a 17" UB 2.66gHz

First Mac - 128k 1985

Laptops: PB100, G3 292mHz Wallstreet (near release date) TiBook 500 (near release date), TiBook 667, PB 17" 1.67, MBP 2.33 17"
 
I'm 11 and I currently have a 2.4 GHz UniBody Macbook Pro :D. I do a bit of video editing, and I do my fair share of gaming (TF2, HL2, Counter Strike, WoW). One of my Favorite laptops up to date. The 9600m GT is a must to me, and DDR3 RAM is also a nice little speed boost :).

EDIT: After reading this thread, I feel young <_<

Youtube videos, helping some people if they need something like an intro. I usually don't do anything major. I usually use Final Cut pro or Final Cut Express, then upload the video to youtube via iMovie to get HD quality :D. Oh yeah, and if a friend needs help with recording guitar hero videos *Picture in Picture*. I' can help, or if they just need me to go and like fix some issues like if it's off sync.

Your 11 and you have a copy of Final Cut Pro? That's like $1200!!??

My little brother is 10 and he's a retard! Should I expect this when he turns 11? lol

35, and have been using Macs for the last 5 years of so. Still own my old 12 inch powerbook, switched to a Black book when they came out and just bought a 2.66 UMBP since I am doing a lot of iPhone development.

WHAT? Kim Jong Il is paying for Macbook Pros? Where can I sign up, and did he lose his mind anymore than it is already?

And I missed out on those days when Manuel Noriega was giving away Harleys and sacks of greenbacks.
 
49, First Mac Titanium Powerbook 500. Macs are the reliable tools I use for work. The 8600GT mess soured me on using Windows for gaming on my now departed 2.2 SR. Still planning on getting iMac 2.8 24" refurb. and White MB once I sell this modded 1920x1200 15" MBP.
 
I'm 61 and have used Pro level Apple laptops since 2000. That started with my Pismo and continued with the first edition G4 TiBook. I would have both now but the Pismo was stolen and my ex got the Ti (she still uses it daily running Tiger). My current computer is a 2.5Gig Penyron MBP with the 17 in screen. I hate the current Apple naming system and call it my Santa Rosa II.

I am a retired teacher and am just moving into freelance design.

I have never owed a PC.
 
we should get a poll going, in like each section for what you currently/most used computer is right now and click your age, like 10+ 15+ 20+ 30+ ect
 
I'm 24 and have had my first mbp about a year ago (had a macbook before)
I bought it for the better keyboard, which is in my opinion ruined in the unibody mbp, and the larger screen. The graphics card is useful for the occasional light gaming in boot camp (mostly Guild Wars)
 
I'm 26 and I often use my 17" UMBP while taking a deuce!

EDIT: that is the only time I wish I had a "15 UMBP
