Really?! A plus phone fits in your pocket fine?!it doesnt bother me in pockets and i wear skinnyish jeans (not tight ones just slim fitting). i enjoy the screen size and battery life. i also have an iPad air 2.

I agree. This rounded side is really annoying. Especially when I was able to prop the phone up without any support earlier and now need something to hold it.I don't really have a problem with the size of the Plus phones. It's the size and shape I can't deal with. My Moto X is only slightly shorter and narrower, but thicker and with a slightly larger display, but it was always easier for me to use one-handed than an iPhone Plus. Now I have a Galaxy S7 Edge which has the same size display but is noticeably smaller and also much easier to use one-handed.
If Apple would go back to using flat edges or something with a big more grip, I could see myself maybe owning an iPhone Plus in the future.
Really?! A plus phone fits in your pocket fine?!I didn't really put one in my pocket but comparing the size I felt like I won't be able to deal with the bulge.
Oh of course, but due to the recent leaks showing what appears to be a practically identical-to-the-6-series design (and no mention of a 4" iPhone 7), I opted to get the SE anyway.
I guess technically you could always use WhatsApp, Telegram or similar apps. For me personally, I found android to be cluttered and kind of "cheap", aesthetics-wise. Not to mention the broad permissions.Same here. I absolutely hate the 6/6s design and will not be purchasing a 7. If Google had an encrypted messaging service that was universally, I'd switch to Android in a second.
Really?! I use both the platforms and can't think of using Android as the primary platform. In iOS land you get the best of Google and Apple.Same here. The permission thing is one of my major gripes.I guess technically you could always use WhatsApp, Telegram or similar apps. For me personally, I found android to be cluttered and kind of "cheap", aesthetics-wise. Not to mention the broad permissions.
You act like there aren't some people that are perfectly happy with just Android. You also don't get the best of Google on an iPhone. You may get most or all of Google's services, but they aren't integrated nearly as well as they are on Android for lack of setting default apps.Really?! If I were you I'd upgrade. The 5s is almost 3 years old now. I would get the SE now while it's current.Couldn't be bothered reading all of the comments, but anyone here switched from a 5s to the SE? Think it was worth the upgrade? Or best to stick with the 5s for another year?
That's hard to say, because the future of the 4" iPhone is uncertain, so you can't know if and when the next one will come out. If we knew Apple would release another one next spring, I'd say wait. The SE is really nice but not a HUGE upgrade over the 5s IMO. But it is a very nice upgrade and will handle future updates much better, not to mention it's not that expensive compared to other iPhones, so if you have the money I say go for it.Couldn't be bothered reading all of the comments, but anyone here switched from a 5s to the SE? The battery life on the SE is really good. It will last noticeably longer than your 5s.Hows the battery life on it? If I keep my 5s away from 3g I can get 6 hours usage (facebook, snapchat etc) before it dies. Only thing holding me back is lack of reviews for the battery life
100% agreeNo way will Apple update the 4" model again in 2016.
They've done it in the past with iPad 3 & 4 though.100% agree
I feel like, if they intend to keep the SE model as a permanent thing, they'll probably introduce the new one around the same time as the original launch date every year. They've done it in the past with iPad 3 & 4 though.

jarred125, I am very interested in how you like the SE. I have the 6s and 6 before that and the 5/5s. Really liked the size of the 5.
I am just worried that after using the larger screen I might find the SE too small.
I agree with this. The SE is essentially a 6s model in a 5s shell. It's missing a couple of things like 3D Touch, but what it lacks there it more than makes up for in power. This thing is a monster, speed-wise. And the battery life is ridiculously good.If I were you I'd upgrade. The 5s is almost 3 years old now. I would get the SE now while it's current.
It doesn't fit in your pocket?!really?!
how tight is your pocket?!

You realize that most of the target audience of the SE wouldn't have gotten the iPhone 7 anyway?

As you can probably tell, I love mine lol.
I ran Geekbench on it again today (not that the scores amount to much), and this was my result:Agree it's very fast - I assume it's because it has fewer pixels to push, but the same CPU and GPU (even if slightly undercooked).
