Some iPhone XS and XS Max Deliveries May Be Delayed Until Monday in the United States [Updated]

I’m in Colorado, same issue stating plane was late. Delivery now tomorrow.
Hope Mac Rumors does a status update as there is clearly a fail on this so much hyped event!
Also in Portland, but no delay, it was delivered to the UPS Store just now.
Was in Anchorage 9/19 PM, then Louisville 9/20, and arrived PDX 9/20 evening.
Happy for you. Glad some people are getting them in the Portland area. I guess I was on the unlucky plane

Sorry to hear that you are in the same "boat" or should I say plane. Just frustrating that a company the size of UPS only has one plane. I talked to UPS and they said its a mechanical problem and it could not take off. Funny how it is still in Louisville. I bet it wont leave until later today/tonight. They gave me a window of 10am to 2PM.
Yeah, my UPS guy just showed up with another delivery, no iPhone. So something went sideways somewhere.
i do appreciate this info! now i need to get one of those time-out extensions to block the UPS site so i can get something done today
Well, after all the angst, both out phones went out for delivery at 10 AM MST here in the Phoenix area. I should just stop worrying about it next time, and take it as it comes.
Haha. Same! It was so close for a while, like a couple blocks away and now it's further away. I usually get deliveries in the mid-afternoon but I thought maaaaybe it was coming earlier than usual. At least it's arriving today. It looked for a while that my package might have been on that plane that went back and forth.
Finally got through to UPS. There was an issue with the plane (flying to the Portland area) and therefore they are not able to deliver today. It will be delivered on Saturday. She also told me there is no signature requirement, since I will not be at home. Oh well I guess its time to get back to real life and no more refreshing the UPS page

Are you getting your phone today? I just talked to UPS and they stated the plane never left due to mechanical problems. Im getting mine tomorrow.
Yep, UPS.com says my phone is on the truck out for delivery. Sitting here drinking coffee and waiting for the guy to show up, peeking out my window every 30 seconds. No chill! lol

Mine says it arrived Commerce City, CO at 4:28 am and then a note that a late flight has caused a delay so Saturday delivery. No update since 7:30 am.
I live in Southern California, I suppose to receive my phone today but It got delay to 09/26. T-mobile is messing up pre-orders.
Same, called UPS, they are absolutely clueless as to what is going on with that plane. They don't know if its in Colorado or in Kentucky, or hijacked.
They said there is no way it will show up today.
Classic UPS doing things the UPS way. They can't even do the one job they have.
It's strange though, it looks like it should have made it. My hub is in Loveland, 50 miles from Commerce City where it was last scanned at 4:30am but there is absolutely no information. I put it on hold to pick up at lunch but now it's going to be inconvenient to wait around on Saturday.
They have completely removed any mention commerce city from my tracking page now...
I also notice if I track by ref # using my billing phone number for the order with apple, i get different results (same tracking number), than if I get by tracking by tracking number.
UPS developers need to figure out wth is going on with their own software.
I know of someone that picked theirs up at the Loveland UPS location, but their tracking wasnt showing delayed like mine is.
Ordered two watches and two iPhone XS. The iPhones are under different iPhone Upgrade accounts but in the same household. The watches and one iPhone just arrived. The other iPhone no longer lists a delivery date. Last update was 1:35 AM and says "Your package was released by the customs agency". Looks like it hasn't left China. All day I've been hoping they just hadn't updated the status. For what it's worth, the iPhone that arrived is 256GB. The missing iPhone is 512GB. Hope you all have better luck. Wondering if they might deliver Saturday?
