That was when Bestbuy was pretty good with launches. The past few years we have had very poor release date availability. Go ask anyone in the iPhone section how the 12 launch went lol
I originally saw an $8 charge for the Logitech combo touch keyboard case I ordered with the iPad, and it even charged it to my Apple Card (showed in a processing status on card). But after a couple days, my order status and my Apple Card both had them removed. Hopefully they’re going through and fixing all of them.

ProcessingYup, I know. It still sounds a bit extreme, for not even 24h delay in ordering (we were on the road, in a trip out of town, otherwise would've ordered them in the first few minutes). I could take a couple of weeks but more than a month... Still hoping for some updates.
I think the only folks that can guarantee they’re not going to get their systems early are those slated for the 21st. For everyone else, there’s the potential that you could end up bumped to an earlier time slot as the massive shipping effort gets well underway.
I see the point. Still, Apple is not providing iPads to most of the population, only to a small percentage. That's why I'm (kinda) surprised. But yes, I can wait even though my current iPad is hiccupping more and more, and the battery drains out even when idling.
From what I see, this is all just your trade in packaging. They are sending it to you (1 tracking number) and inside is a box for you to send back (2nd tracking number). This has nothing to do with your new iPad shipment.
What I did with the Airpods Max when they came out and also had vast waiting times was to check every 4 hours or so (so about three times a day) online for the closest in-store pickup. Chances are you might be able to get one especially if it is not a crazy main hub city, I’m located in Montréal (which is like a minor NYC) and by the third day after launch still managed to set one aside.
Good question, I think I would wait for reviews to confirm (MaxTech will most probably do those type of tests since they have reviewed those hubs before).

And I ordered a Nintendo Switch off bestbuy.com and it wasn’t supposed to arrive for a week but I got it in 2 days.
Ahhh, got it, sorry. I thought you had a delivery window of the earlier May 21-28 timeframe. Definitely wouldn’t expect yours to ship until closer to your June 9th window unfortunately unless they can get ahead of all the pre-orders. Good luck!
